Einstein rings are a very rare and fascinating astronomical phenomenon.
They occur when the light from a distant galaxy passes through the gravitational field of a foreground object typically another galaxy or another galaxy cluster.
Because of this, foreground galaxy's gravity bends and magnifies the light, creating a ring likes shape around it.
Einstein 's ringjs are a result of
1. Gravitational lensing
2. Alignment
Only a few dozen Einstein's rings are discovered so far as they are rare but they are beautiful.
