Birbal managed to shorten the road

 Once Akbar and Birbal went to neighbouring kingdom by walk . It was a long route to walk.

Both of them started to walk . It was the summer season. It was a very hot day .

Akbar was not at all used to walk under scorching sun . Soon Akbar was exhausted.

Wiping the sweat on his forehead , Akbar inquired Birbal how much distance left to reach the destination ?

Birbal was afraid to say that still long way to go .

Birbal thought of a plan and said to Akbar that if Akbar answers the questions asked by him , he will shorten the road that they are traveling .

Akbar readily agreed . 

Birbal went on asking questions one by one . 

Akbar like a polite student , tried to answer the questions taking sufficient time .

Suddenly Birbal stopped asking questions saying that his question bank got over..

Akbar wore a victorious smile on his face and said to Birbal that though he has answered all the questions asked by  Birbal , Birbal is unable to shorten the distance .

For that , Birbal replied they have already reached the destination by now .

Akbar looked at surroundings and realised what was Birbal meant by shortening the distance .
