1. Fire rainbow
This rainbow is not formed due to rain. But due to the sunlight that refracts through ice crystals in clouds.
They appear orange on the top and blue or green at the bottom.
2. Ball lightning
This mysterious phenomenon occurs where a glowing sphere of electrical energy appear during thunderstorms.
3. Bioluminescent waves
This is because of the plankton found in oceans. The waves glow blue or green at the night.
4. Penitentes
These are tall and needle like structures that grows in cold and high altitude environment. These structures grow in snow when top layer melts in the day time sunlight and refreezes during the night.
5. Blood falls
Blood falls happens in Antarctica. The reddish colour of the water is due to iron oxide rich salt water seeping from a lake beneath the Glacier.
6. Sailing stones
This is an unique phenomenon found in death valley. These rocks leave long tracks behind them as they wander mysteriously.
6. Volcanic lightning
This happens when a volcano erupts abruptly. Within the eruption fume, friction between volcanic gases and ash particles generate electric charges that result in the lightning.
