Hardik Pandya is not included in the squad....

I am having a difficult time. Today morning when I opened the news paper sports section , I found the article that states Hardik Pandya is not included in the squad.


Sri Lankan cricket team has already arrived in India to play cricket series . Now it is playing practice match. After that it will play test series against India.


But Hardik Pandya is not included in the playing squad. Article said since he has injured his fingers when playing against New Zealand , he is being rested.


I have decided I am not going to watch the test series against Sri Lanka . Anyway I am not interested in watching 5 day long boring test matches which usually ends in a draw.

India has won the T20 cricket series

Yesterday was the day of series decider T20 cricket match against New Zealand , as the series was equal at 1-1. India has won the match by 6 runs.

I was all geared up and sat down infront of tv at 7 pm yesterday. But it was raining in Thiruvanantapuram , where the match is being played. 1/2 an hour passed , 1
Hour passed ... Still no sign of starting of match.


Indian players were playing football. Now it is past 9 pm. Still it is raining and even captains didn't play toss. I thought the organisers may cancel the play. That time itself , disaster struck .....

LOAD SHEDDING !!


Power went off. Throughout Karnataka state , our district is the only one which is experiencing load shedding.


I was damn sure that power will not come atleast for 1 1/2 hours. I fell asleep.

I got the news by reading the news paper. My favourite Hardik Pandya shined. Though it is the match of just 8 overs , Hardik Pandya was not out at 14 runs. He had taken a wicket too in bowling !!

Please note :

I have written this article just to praise Hardik Pandya and his all rounder ability .

I am optimistic, there is improvement !

Yesterday was the day of 2nd T20 cricket match against New Zealand. I am writing this blog article with a great pain in my mind because India has lost the match.


It is a fact that we can not expect a cricket team to win each and every match it is playing. Still there is a series decider cricket match. Now series is equal at 1-1.


I am happy because my favourite cricketer Hardik Pandya has shown the sign of improvement in his batting form . He got out for a duck (0 run ) in the first T20 cricket match .

But yesterday he has scored 1 run ! Don't you think it is an improvement? I am optimistic about Hardik Pandya that he will come up with a match winning performance in the series decider match. 

Impossible catch taken by Hardik Pandya

Yesterday was the day of 1st T20 cricket match against New Zealand. I was watching the cricket match. India did the batting first. Though Shikhar Dhawan scored 80 , he got out in the next ball.

I was expecting Virat Kohli to come to bat, but Hardik Pandya came to crease. It was a surprise . I was expecting Hardik Pandya to explode as India has already put a decent target.

But I was terribly disappointed by watching Hardik Pandya to get out on a duck ( 0 run ). If I were there in the stadium, I would have asked Hardik Pandya for the reason to get out on 0 !

But Hardik Pandya is an alrounder. When New Zealand started their innings , Martin Guptill  had scored 4. He was attempting to drive the ball to boundary , at that time , my favourite Hardik Pandya did a nice acrobatic dive and caught the ball in hand !

That is an OUT ! It was a difficult catch . But Hardik Pandya , as fit and fine he is , made it possible ! At the end , India won the match against New Zealand after 10 years , by defeating New Zealand in a T20 cricket match.

Again and again I do the same mistake. The final ODI match between India and New Zealand had a thrilling end. I thought the target posted by India is unable to chase .

But New Zealand were chasing the target and they fall short by just 6 runs . These facts I came to know after reading newspaper.

It must have been a thrilling match !


Today is the first T20 cricket match against New Zealand. I have decided to watch till the end of match . If India is about to lose the match  , I can imagine by looking at the score card, then I will change my plan.
