Yesterday was the day of final match of 3 match series. The series was at 1 - 1 as both the teams India and England had won each matches.
As usual Indian captain Kohli lost the toss and had to bat first . The opening Indian batsmen did the partnership of 100 runs . India has posted a sum of 329 runs on score board with the help of half centuries made by both Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant . In the death overs , Shardul Thakur has hit some explosive sixes and boundaries .
The real excitement of match starts when England started chasing .. This time English openers departed early . Everything was going fine till Sam Curren came to bat . Till he was on crease, I was literally sat on the edge of sofa . It was very difficult to predict who is going to be champion .
I will give a little glimpse of England chasing and how it made me to sit on the edge of the sofa .
79 runs required for England from 78 balls .
77 runs in 72 balls
75 runs in 68 balls
73 runs in 68 balls
At this time , a wicket has fallen . England is 8 wickets down now .
65 runs in 51 balls
60 runs in 43 balls
54 runs in 42 balls
50 runs in 33 balls
48 runs in 30 balls
42 runs in 25 balls
35 runs in 21 balls
29 runs in 20 balls
23 runs in 18 balls
19 runs in 13 balls
18 runs in 10 balls
14 runs in 6 balls
As this is the last over , if English lower order batsmen take the risk of hitting six then England would have won the match .. But they were already 9 down . So finally it was 8 runs required in 1 ball. England could get only one run .
India has won the match by 7 runs.
