Braveness of Bhim

 This story is from Mahabharat

It was the day when Dronacharya  abandoned his weapons and decided to withdraw from the battlefield .

That time Dhristadrimnya came and beheaded Dronacharya .

This news was heard by his son Ashwatthama and he thought Pandavas by cheating killed his father .

In the mood of rage, he initiated Narayanastra . This is the weapon which is far superior to all the other weapons .

Speciality of this weapon is that if opponent bow down his head infront of it , it would not harm him .

But if the opponent challenges , then it would not spare  him . It just kill him .

When Ashwatthama initiated this weapon , Sri Krishna asked everyone to surrender their weapon and bow down their heads  down .

Everyone did as Krishna asked them to do . 

But Bhim did not agree to surrender and bow down his head infront of a weapon .

Everyone including  Krishna tried to make him understand . But Bhim said he is a warrior and will never bow down his head infront of anyone  .

Narayanastra targeted him and Bhim was surrounded by raging fire .

Bhim had not expected this .. 

When he came to know that it is the weapon gifted by lord Vishnu himself , then he agreed to surrender himself infront of Narayanastra.

That much confidence Bhim had on his bravery .

In kurukshetra war , Bhim alone had killed most opponents .
