Do other planets have seasons ???

We know that  as summer rolls around northern hemisphere of earth,, winter creeps in southern hemisphere and vice versa.

The shape of the orbit of earth and a tilt in its spin axis are responsible for seasonal changes on Earth.

Our planet rotates at a slight angle of around 23.5 degrees.

So, when Earth is on one side of Sun, the northern hemisphere is pointed towards Sun and southern hemisphere facing away.

Mars has an axis tilt around 25 degrees.  As this value is very close to Earth's tilt, Mars experiences seasonal variations just like Earth.

Winters on Mars are dominated by dry ice or carbon dioxide ice.

Mercury has no tilts. So there is no seasonal changes at all  !!!

Uranus has 90 degrees tilt.  So poles are either completely facing the Sun or not at all !!!

Jupiter's axis tilt is very small. This means Jupiter experienc iess minimal seasonal changes.

Saturn's tilt is approximately 26 degrees.  Seasonal changes are much longer than Earth's because of it's size.

Neptune faces seasonal changes just like Saturn.

Venus faces minimal seasonal changes.
