In our solar system we have only one star that is Sun !!!
But we always see lots of twinking stars in night sky. If they are not in our solar system, then where are they ??!!
The stars what we see in night sky, are in UNIVERSE !!!!
That means outer space.
Here are some stars ---------
1. UY Scuti
UY Scuti tops the list of largest stars ever found. It is estimated to be more than 1,700 times wider than Sun !!!
Size doesn't matter. It is very hot. UY Scuti is a super giant which is nearing the end of it's life.
It could explode or collapse within a few million years.
2. WOH G64
WOH G64 is another red super giant. It is located in the small galaxy near ours.
This star has thick layer of dust around it.
3. WOH S170
It is also another massive super giant star. It still hasn't been studied like other stars.
4. RSGC 1 - F01
It is located within our own galaxy !!!
It is so massive that if it is replaced the Sun, its surface would stretch beyond the orbit of Jupiter !!!
