Australia knocked out of world cup cricket !!!

I was depressed by watching the exit of India from world cup in the semi-final stage . India was at the 2nd place at points table , Australia being the first . Australia was also the first team to enter the semi-final . Above all , they are the last year champions .



India is knocked out of world cup in semi-final . Yesterday the 2nd semi-final match between England and Australia was played .


Even Australia suffered like us against England . They could not score more . They had posted an easy target for England .


England easily chased the target and won the match . The teams who were at the top 2 positions , ( India and Australia ) are knocked out of world cup .

Failure of Indian top order batsmen has closed the door of final of world cup cricket .

New Zealand vs India match is turning out to be one sided match after the failure of Indian top order batsmen .


All the 4 of Indian top order batsmen got out for just singles . This is the result of over confidence . New Zealand has given the target of 240 runs .



India is struggling. Though Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant are playing well , I wonder till how long they will stick to crease . It is very sad to see India having come this far , invincible , now finding it difficult to move upwards .

Semi-final match between India and New Zealand

Yesterday India has won the match against Sri Lanka . Australia has lost the match against South Africa . The first place in the score card goes to India .



Because of that , the 2 semi-final matches will be played between -----



   1 . India vs New Zealand
   2 . Australia vs England


New Zealand is the unstable team of this world cup cricket . They have come to the semi-final stage because of their good runrate .


My future prediction ----


India will win the semi-final match against New Zealand .. Similarly England will win the semi-final match against Australia .


The final match will be between India and England . India will take the revenge for the loss in league match against England and will win the final .

Hardik Pandya got out for a golden duck ....

Today India vs Bangladesh cricket match in on going world cup . India has won the toss and elected to bat first . India has posted a score of 314/9 .

India was able to score this much runs because strong first wicket partnership between Rohit Sharma and Rahul . Rohit scored one more century .


The highlight of the match is Hardik Pandya got out for a duck ! ( 0 run ).


India would have scored 30 - 40 runs more if Hardik Pandya stayed in the match . Bangladesh fielder dropped Rohit Sharma catch . This is going to cost them dearly as India is going to win this match and confirm its entry in semi-final .

Once again Hardik Pandya missed scoring half century .....

Yesterday was the day of match between India and England . I had predicted the win of English cricket team as soon as I came to know that England has won the toss . Because TOSSES WIN MATCHES .


When I saw the 160+ partnership for the first  wicket of England , I guessed that England is going to post a target beyond 300 .


What puzzled me was every ball bowled to English batsmen were either going to a boundary or a sixer . I even decided to urge ICC to restrict the number of boundaries and sixes hit by a player in an innings when playing against India .


I could not watch the suffering of Indian fielders . I thought sometimes they just let go the ball to reach boundary line .



By hearing about the mammoth target posted by England , not only me , everyone in our family came to conclusion that India's chances of winning is very less .



It was confirmed when Rahul got out . But what is wrong with Hardik  Pandya? Some one must remind him when he is in 45 , that if he play with patience  , there is a golden chance of scoring a half century in world cup cricket match .



As a true fan , I can't digest the fact that he is missing to score a half century just by 4 runs .
