Differences between North Pole and South Pole

 North Pole and South Pole lie at opposite extremes of our planet.


I have listed down the differences between the two.


North Pole 

              1. It is in Arctic ocean.

              2.  It is having floating ice type.

              3.  It is comparatively warmer.

               4.  Polar bears, seals and birds are  the wild life.

                5. It experiences 6 months of daylight in summer.




South Pole 

                1.  It is in Antarctica.

                2.  It is having thick ice sheets on land.

                3.  It is comparatively cooler.

                 4. Only penguins are the wildlife.

                 5.  It experiences 6 months of daylight in winter.
