Beaches that glow in the dark

 There are several beaches where sea appears to glow in the dark.

This is called   bioluminescense.

It is caused by living organisms like bacteria, fungi, algae, insects or insects and aquatic animals. 

It is a type of chemical reaction that occurs within these organisms. 

Here chemical energy is converted into radiant energy thereby producing light. 

In India also, we can observe this phenomenon in several beaches.
