1. Great wall of China is not a single continuos wall. It consists of multiple walls built by different dynasties.
2. It is one of the longest man made structures in the world. Its vast stretch is equipment to half of the circumference of earth !!!
3. The wall is built by local materials.
4. Construction of the wall was by forced labour. Many workers lost their life during construction due to harsh environment.
5. Many parts are damaged due to natural weathering, human activity and urban developments. Restoration works are going on.
6. It has more than 1000 watch towers.
