Currency of Bulgaria

 Yesterday I saw a news article.

It was about the country Bulgaria which is now trying to join EU  (  European Union  ).

European Union is the collection of European countries which follow certain rules.

The important rules I remember are  ----

1.  There is no boundary restrictions among member countries of EU.  No need of separate travel permissions within EU countries.

2.  EU countries follow a common currency by the name   "  EURO   ".

Now coming back to Bulgaria.

Bulgaria now wants to join EU.

==>>   Till now it was not the member of  EU   !!!

==>>   Bulgaria must be having its own currency which was being used within the country.

==>>   The  currency of Bulgaria at present is  BULGARIAN LEV   !!!

==>>   The currency was in use since 1881.

==>>  EURO is  going to replace this currency in coming days.
