The comparison of brightness of stars
There are many stars in our galaxy. Some of them are very bright . To know which star is brightest ,scientists follow a table based on their brightness.
The brightest star is called "alpha" star. Then comes beta, theta, gama and delta. But this theory is not so popular since the method used has only some numbers. But we have enormous amount of stars which differ in their brightness to others.
But this method used in earlier days.
