Why there are no hairs on palm ?

This is not an article on the scientific reason behind why there are no hairs on palm ? 

This question was asked by King Akbar to his favourite minister Birbal . Once both of them were sitting on royal garden , chatting with each other . Then suddenly , Akbar got this doubt and he wanted to know Birbal's answer for this .


Birbal thought for a moment , and said " you always help the needy people . You always donate . That's why there is no time for hair to grow up on your palm " .


Akbar was very happy by hearing his praising . But he wanted to quizz Birbal more . Again he asked " Even you don't have hairs on your palm . What is the reason behind that ?"


Birbal said , " I receive prizes from you more often . Hence there is no time for the hair to grow up on my palm ! " .


Akbar was very pleased with the witty answer . Then he asked " Why there are no hairs on other couriers' palm ? "


Birbal replied " By always watching me getting prizes from you , they get envious and jealous . They start rubbing their palms . That's why there are no hairs on their palms too !" .


Akbar could not control his laughter after hearing the reply . 

Don't nurture bad habits.....

Nowadays , we see lots of youths becoming addicts of bad habits . They think by practicing the repetitive use of drugs or smoking or drinking or chewing tobacco makes them to look cool infront of their friends . But the habit is actually injurious to health and eventually leads to death .


Here is the story of a young man who also wanted to be cool dude in the eyes of his friends . But it ended in a tragedy.


Rahul always wanted to do something different from others . The option he has chosen is to keep a pet . Sounds pretty safe right ? But as I said he wants to do things differently from others . So he decided to adopt a poisonous snake as his pet .


Many people opposed his decision . But Rahul was adamant . He didn't listen to anyone . He adopted a poisonous snake and started nurturing it with love and care .


Everything was going good . Rahul was thinking that he has broken the jinx of the society that snakes can not be looked after as a pet .


Once , Rahul had to go to other city for some work . That too  for one week ! Rahul was restless about his pet . He requested many of his friends to look after his pet in his absence .


But no one was ready . Rahul thought he will complete his work as soon as possible and will come back near his pet early .


With a heavy heart , he left the house . But he was lucky enough that he could complete his work in just 3 days ! He came running near his pet . His pet was sleeping . He touched the body of his pet affectionately .......



But his pet that is the poisonous snake was very hungry as it didn't eat since 3 days . It was waiting for some prey so that it can feed on that .


As soon as Rahul touched its body , it has bitten Rahul's hand with such a force that Rahul was poisoned and died instantly .

MORAL : Bad habits are like poisonous snake . If we nurture them , it will surely result in our death . Say no to bad habits .

Number of crows in the city

Once Akbar and Birbal were talking a stroll on the streets of their city . Akbar saw a group of crows ( they are called murder ) and asked Birbal that he would like to know the number of crows in the city .


Birbal without blinking his eye , said that there are 4,374 crows in the city . Akbar was very much surprised , how can Birbal be so confident that is the exact number of crows in the city without even counting ??


He raised his doubt with Birbal saying what if there are more crows than the number said by Birbal ?

Birbal replied with a cool tone , " If the number is more , then crows of neighbouring place have come to visit their relatives . If the number is less , then our city crows have gone to neighbouring place to visit their relatives !!! ".

After getting this reply , Akbar didn't dare to ask such foolish questions .

ತುಂಡು ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಸಿರು ಮೆಣಸಿನ ಕಾಯಿ -- ಖಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ
ಅರಿಸಿನ ಪುಡಿ -- 2 ಚಮಚ
ಉಪ್ಪು -- ರುಚಿಗೆ
ಸೇವ್ - ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ

ಮೊದಲು ಬಾಣಲೆ ಬಿಸಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹಾಕಿ . ನಂತರ ಹಸಿ ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ ಹಾಕಿ.ಹುರಿಯಿರಿ . ನಂತರ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಚುರುಮುರಿ ಹಾಕಿ . ಗರಿ ಗರಿ ಆಗುವ ತನಕ ಹುರಿಯಿರಿ .

ಈಗ ಅರಿಸಿನ , ಉಪ್ಪು , ಸೇವ್ ಸೇರಿಸಿ     ಗ್ಯಾಸ್ ಆಫ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿ..

Why white bed sheets are used in hotels ?

I always thought , white bed sheets are the easiest ones to get stained . But  in most of the hotels , they have white bed sheets , towels etc . Why ?


1. White coloured sheets assure the guests that they are fresh and clean . They also give the impression of luxury in a hotel .

2. White coloured sheets overall gives a best experience of better sleep and good perception about the hotel .


3 . White coloured sheets can be mixed with any other dirty laundry without the fear of colour bleeding . It is easier to wash them all together .

YouTube videos and hindi films of nowadays

I used to pass the time by watching hindi films few years back . Slowly I started to feel I can't sit and watch for 3 hours continuously .


Then I switched over to t.v. .I am not a fan of extra long serials . I only watch music channels to entertain myself . But nowadays the content that is coming on t.v. is just full of vulgarity .


The video is full of vulgarity , not the audio . They are perfect stress busters . So I switched to listening to web radio . Atlast , I found something which will not irritate my mind .



I am still listening to web radio . But now I am a fan of YouTube videos . Most of them are comedy videos but there are romantic videos too . Trust me , they are far better than hindi films .


Recently I watched videos of Harsh Beniwal , Swagger Sharma . Both were too good . They made my day . My mother keeps an eye on what I watch on YouTube . I don't use Facebook , Twitter or instagram .


I am posting already saved blog articles . After that I will stop using blogger too . Only 4 people read my blog article . Out of them 2 are my own brother and uncle . Since 10 years I am writing .


Everything has to end one day .

Mouse and mouse trap

Long ago , in the house of a farmer there lived a mouse . Farmer had pigeon  , hen and sheep as pets too . Mouse was friendly with all of them.

One day farmer arranged a mouse trap for the mouse. Mouse was very scared about his life. He shared his feeling with all of his friends.

Instead of telling the word of courage , all of his friends just shooed away him. They didn't take his words seriously. Mouse thought if they face threat to their own lives  , then they will realise my feeling .

Mouse was spending days in the fear of his life. But he was not caught by farmer still .

One day , wife of farmer fell ill . Doctor advised farmer to apply blood of a pigeon as cure . So he had to kill the pigeon. Then he had to kill the hen for the dinner of his friends and relatives.

As his wife got cured , he sacrificed sheep to goddess as gratitude . Still mouse is roaming around in the house . But the animals who didn't pay attention to the fear of death of mouse , all of them ended their lives .

Why do we use a piece of lemon with luke warm water in a finger bowl ?

I have seen in the restaurants , after they serve the meal , at the end they bring a bowl of luke warm water with a piece of lemon floating on it .


I have not seen this type of custom till date . I didn't know what to do with it ? I was feeling embarrassed . Then my father explained that we are supposed to dip our finger tips in the water .


Then when to use the lemon ? I thought we must squeeze the lemon in the water and then dip our finger tips in the water .


My father said I must not do anything like that . We have to just rub the lemon onto our finger tips . Lemon has anti bacterial and germicidal properties .


It frees the hands from unseen bacteria . It is also highly acidic in nature . It helps to remove the layer of oil from our hands .


Q
