Yesterday was the match between India and England.
This match is not having any importance as England is already at the bottom last position in points table.
If England win or lose this match, it is not going to make any difference to anyone !!!!
We can say that England is playing just for their pride as they are the last year 2022 champions !!!
I was not interested to watch the match but I changed my mind when I came to know that India is batting first.
India had a very slow opening. First over was a maidens over.!!!!
Just to cross the 100 run milestone, India had taken full 25 overs.
With that, they had lost 3 wickets too...
Opening batsman Rohit Sharma after scoring 50, played some scoring shots.
He got out after scoring 87 runs.
Ravindra Jadeja didn't stand for long.
But Surya was able to score a 49 runs in present world cup for the first time.
At the end of the innings,, India was able to score 229 runs with the help of the tail enders......
I was thinking that India has posted an easy and very low score.
But England had lost 4 wickets just for 40 runs !!!!!
England batting order falling cheap.
England were all out just for 129 runs.
England really need to reconstruct their team.
With this, India has won all the 6 matches it has played........
Virat Kohli has created a record of getting duck out ( getting out at 0 run) even though facing 9 balls !!!!
