Yesterday's match was between South Africa and New Zealand.
I think whatever had happened, only New Zealand is responsible for that.
New Zealand had won the toss.
It could have been a good decision to select batting first.
But it didn't and asked in form South Africa team to bat first.
South Africa batters had a good use of the opportunity and just pounced upon New Zealand cricket team.
In the first 10 overs, they had made it clear. They were scoring runs without losing any wickets.......
List of in form batters of South Africa is very long.
Likewise 2 of them scored centuries, one half century.
The batting strength of South Africa is such that in the last over, before to last ball, South African batsman got out.
The new batman Markham had come to crease to face the last ball of last over of the match.......
That person also finished the innings of his team with a sixer...!!!!!
Everyone was playing sixers ....
South Africa piled up runs and ended their innings with 357 runs.
New Zealand starting was not good.
It had lost first 3 wickets for just 55 runs.
I was wondering was it the same New Zealand team who had chased Australia without any hesitation ???
What had happened when playing against Australia was just an one time wonder .......
New Zealand had surrendered itself before South Africa without giving a fight also......
When losing is confirmed,
Always lose with a grace ........
