Countries with stringent laws for the tourists

 Below listed countries have stringent laws. Tourists must familiarise with local regulations.

1.  Singapore

      No littering, no smoking, ban on chewing gum, hefty fine on failing to flush the toilet   !!!

2. United Arab Emirates

       Harsh drug laws, ban on holding hands and kissing.

3. Saudi Arabia

               Non Muslims are forbidden from entering cities like Mecca and Medina.

4.  Thailand 

               Death sentence for trafficking and insulting monarchy. 

5.  North Korea 

                Even small offences can result in the imprisonment and death sentence. 

6.  Japan 

             No littering, no smoking and zero tolerance for drunk driving 

7.  Qatar 

             Alcohol consumption is restricted to certain areas. Women are expected to cover their shoulders and knees. 

8.  Indonesia 

             Death penalty for drug trafficking.  Ban on public display of affection. 

9.  Malaysia 

              During Ramadan,  eating, drinking or smoking in public places is prohibited.

10.  Brunei 

               Alcohol is banned.  Any disrespect to Islamic customs or Brunei Sultanate can lead to legal trouble.
