How to prepare mohan pak?
This recipe I have seen on TV. First I thought instead of mysore pak, they are calling it as mohan pak. But it is different and I found it easy to remember.
METHOD
First take a pan and put 3/4 cup of sugar to it. Now add 1/2 cup of water to it. Let it boil so that sugar get dissolved in water resulting in sugar syrup. In the meantime, take another pan and put 1 cup of gram flour to it. Add little ghee and fry the flour till the odour of gram flour changes. Now to the sugar syrup, add khova , cardomom powder (as per taste). Take another small pan and put ghee to it and fry the cashew nuts and almonds. Add this fried cashew nut and almond to sugar syrup. After this, slowly go on adding fried gram flour to sugar syrup so that it doesnt make any knots. Finally add ghee.
Make sure to stirr during flour adding process. When it seems to get hardened, put the mixure in a plate and cut it for desirable shape.
