Why water must not be used to put out fire caused by gasoline?
Main reason is , gasoline is lighter than water. Water can not put out fire caused by gasoline , because gasoline just floats over it.
If we use water to put out fire , fire will spread immediately. The fire can be extinguished only by depriving it of oxygen with extinguishers such as carbon dioxide.
