Highest peak of African continent is MOUNTAIN KILIMANJARO !!!
If I am right , it is in Tanzania.
Here are some more facts -----
1. Kilimanjaro is a freestanding mountain. It stands alone.
2. It is not a part of larger mountain range or connected to other peaks.
3. It raises sharply from surrounding terrains.
4. Though it is in equator region, its peaks are always covered with snow !!!
