Could humans really eat grass like cattle ??
Grass might look harmless, but human bodies are not designed to digest it.
Grass provides little to no nutrients value unlike fruits and vegetables.
The reason lies in the structure of grass.
Grass is made up of tough compounds.
While the human gut can handle small amount of cellulose found in vegetables, grass contain it in much higher concentration.
Grass eating animals have multiple stomach chambers to digest.
Humans have single stomach and teeth which are not adapted to chew grass.
If swallowed, grass remains indigestible and can lead to stomach discomfort.
