Why snake disappear in winter ??

 Be it rainy season or summer, snakes are found everywhere. 

But not in winter   !!! 

WHY   ??? 

Snakes are cold blooded reptiles. 

Snakes cannot control their body temperature. 

When it gets cold outside, even their own blood gets clotted. 

Because of this, a simple movement also become difficult for them. 

Cold makes metabolism of snakes weaker. Because of this, they are unable to hunt even though they are hungry. 

That's why they go for hibernation in winter. 

They would stop walking or going out. There by they conserve energy. 

They sleep for 20-22 hours in a day. They live because of strength they have got due to previous eating.
