ವರಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಕಥೆ

ಇವತ್ತು ವರಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಹಬ್ಬ . ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆಯೇ ಈ ಕಥೆ .

ತುಂಬಾ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಂದು ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾರುಮತಿ ಎನ್ನುವ ಗೃಹಿಣಿ ಇದ್ದಳು . ಆಕೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಬಡವಳು . ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯ ಪೀಡಿತ ಅತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾವ ಇದ್ದರು . ಮನೆಯ ಕೆಲಸ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಇದರಲ್ಲೇ ಆಕೆ ಹೈರಾಣಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು .



ಆದರೆ ಅವಳು ಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಯ ಭಕ್ತೆ .


ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ದೇವಿ ಬಂದು ನಾನು ಶ್ರಾವಣ ಮಾಸದ ಎರಡನೆ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರದಂದು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ  ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ . ಆವತ್ತು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥ ಗಳನ್ನು ಈಡೆರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾತು ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು .

ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಮನೆಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಿಂದ ಪಾರಾದರು. ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರಿಗ
ಜೀವನದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಸುಭಿಕ್ಷೆಯ ಕಾಲ ಎದುರಾಯಿತು . ಇದನ್ನು ಅರಿತ ಇತರ ಜನರೂ ಇದನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಭಾಗ್ಯವಂತರಾದರು .

ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ .

Positive thinking has given the life back

Rahul is the only son of his parents. Being 7 year old , he is very mischievous . His mother is always seen tired because Rahul don't listen to her. Out of curiosity , he go on touching inflammable things.

One day, Rahul's parents were out of city . Rahul was alone in the house . Though prohibited, Rahul went inside kitchen . He had seen his mother cooking . He started mocking the action.

First , he turned ON the knob of gas stove . But he didn't light it . He turned and switched ON mixer grinder.

Gas was leaking. There was a blast in the kitchen . Rahul lied down on floor with 70% of burns all over his body.

He was hospitalised. He was admitted in Intensive Care Unit. His whole body was covered in bandage except his eyes .

He was seeing his mother crying throughout day. He started to feel that his end has come. Even doctors after examination, said there is no hope.

That time he met a boy who was practising for his exam. Though he was outside, Rahul could hear his voice of by hearting poems and answers.

Rahul too started remembering . He became so interested that now he wants to go to school and start practising for exam!

He started showing improvements . To doctors' surprise , he was shifted to general ward . Less in a month , he was discharged from hospital!

His positive thinking to get cured as soon as possible , did the impossible , a reality.

Why do we have a running nose when we cry ?

I have observed it . When we cry tears come out of our eyes . That is quite obvious . But most of us will have the running nose too along with it . The liquid or snot we are having through our nose is quite watery unlike what we have when we get cold .


It is because the tears from our eye not only drain out onto our face , there is also a passage way in the inner corner of our eye that directly leads to our nose . In nose , tears get mixed with mucus ( which is already present there ) to form a very liquidy snot .



This is actually happening all the time . But we don't notice . But when we cry , there is lots of moisture from our eyes going into our nose , than the normal . Thus making the mucus even more liquidy than it would otherwise be .

Whatever is destined to happen , that will surely happen ...

Long ago , there lived a rich man in a village . Besides to his house , there lived a poor man in a hut . Rich man was thinking that this hut is bringing disgrace to his well built , large bungalow .

But rich man didn't dare to harm poor man as he is well known in village for his honesty and helping nature . Rich man could not do anything .

One day , a famous astrologer had visited the village . People were very eager to find the solution to their problems . Rich man had also gone near him .

By seeing rich man , astrologer predicted that rich man will lose all his wealth to a poor man who is his neighbour . Listening to that , rich man came back to his house .

He sold everything . If he don't have anything , how will poor man get his wealth ? Rich man bought a precious diamond in the money he got , after selling his property .

He decided to leave the village . If he is not in village , how can his neighbour will get his money ? He started travelling in a boat to nearby city .

But the boat he was travelling , sank in water for strange reason . Rich man somehow managed to save himself , but in the chaos he lost his precious diamond .

Now a fish has swallowed this diamond . This fish was a fatty fish and a fisherman caught the same fish . By seeing the huge fish , fisherman remembered poor man for the help he has done .

Fisherman presented the fish to poor man in gratitude . Poor man was surprised by seeing a diamond in the stomach of fish , when he cut the fish for cooking .

Now poor man has all the money that rich man used to have . Rich man is now penny less as he has lost the diamond worth crores of rupees .

Whatever is destined to happen , that will surely happen .

Why do they say in ads " kills 99.9% germs " , but not 100 % ?

I have always noticed that in tv ads of a soap or floor cleaning liquid ; they often claim that kills 99.9 % germs . Why don't say 100 %?

First thing we must understand is that nothing is perfect . I am not saying that they are misleading us saying that their products kill the germs .


There are many types of germs . It is not possible for a single product to kill all the germs responsible for the infection we have got .


When we go near a doctor for the cure for the infection , even they do trial and error method . On first time visit itself , no doctor can come to the final conclusion about the cause .


So , as the part of marketing strategy and also to be on the safer side , they declare like the kills 99.9% germs . If the product in use , failed to kill the germs responsible for the infection , the manufacturer must not be blamed .



I am confident that the products actually kill some type of germs . But not all . Also it is not good to use these products continuously as germs will soon develop resistance power .
