Story of Mulla Nasiruddin

Mulla Nasiruddin was a doctor . He was having a very doubtful wife . She was doubting the character of her husband if he returns to house late in the night .

Once , Nasiruddin was late . His wife started checking his shirt . She found some strands of black hair stuck to buttons . She started accusing Nasiruddin for being unfaithful to her and having an affair with a young lady .


Nasiruddin tried to convince her saying that her thinking is wrong . But she didn't listen .

Very next day , she got few grey strands attached to buttons . Again she started accusing Nasiruddin for having an affair with an old lady .

Nasiruddin was fed up of doubting nature of his wife . So , before leaving for his house , he made sure that there is nothing stuck to his shirt .

After reaching home , his wife again started accusing him after checking his shirt .




WHY ?????

She started accusing him for having an affair with a BALD LADY !!

Why does table salt becomes sticky during rainy season ?

Everyone must have observed this . The table salt we use daily becomes sticky during rainy season . I understood that the salt absorbs the water vapour present in the atmosphere as it is hygroscopic in nature . Thus it loses its free flowing capacity .


But there must be some criterion match for this phenomena . I observed that as soon as the rainy season starts , salt is not becoming sticky .


Upto 74% relative humidity and temperature upto 20 degree Celsius , salt will not absorb water vapour from atmosphere .



That means humidity level must be more than 74 % of usual and temperature should be less than 20 degree Celsius .


What may happen if temperature is even less than this .?


Solid salt crystals will become watery .

Astrologer saved his own life ....

King Indraverma was having the habit of seeking advice from an astrologer before starting any work .

Once his close friend had visited him. As usual , king asked the astrologer about future life of his friend . Astrologer opened his book , calculated for some time and then he said , friend will live only for 5 more days.

Listening to that , friend got angry and left the hall . Ironically , he died exactly after 5 days ! This made king angry and he summoned the astrologer to meet him .

Astrologer came and he saw that king is waiting for him with soldiers holding sword and it seemed they may attack at any moment .

King asked the astrologer when will he , himself die? Now astrologer is in fix . If he say some number , he was sure that king will order his soldiers to behead him in very next moment .

But he had to say something . King was waiting . He pretended that he is calculating something . Finally he replied " I will die just 2 days before your death "!

Now king is helpless . He had to leave the astrologer safe and sound , otherwise he is inviting his own death !

Proving air pressure is inversely proportional to volume

In engineering , we learnt that air pressure is inversely proportional to volume. I.e. p = 1/v Where p= pressure V= volume Provided temperature is constant. This means if pressure on material becomes less, its volume becomes more. Means it becomes bigger. If pressure is more then it becomes smaller. Now we will look at the experiment. All we need is a bell jar and partly blown balloon. Now keep the partly blown balloon inside the bell jar. Now take out the air which is present inside the bell jar using a vacuum pump. Now a surprising thing happens. The balloon which was inside the bell jar slowly starts to EXPAND !!!!!! No..... No...... This is not the work of a GHOST ! :-) It is pure science. Now we will look at what happened. ....... ........ ........ We have taken out all the air which was present inside the bell jar. Now balloon which is having little air, experiences pressure difference. In other words, the air outside the balloon is nil. So outside of balloon no air pressure. But balloon is having little air inside. So it is having little air pressure. As I said earlier, this difference in air pressure results in the increase in volume of balloon. The law stated the same ( see the start of article ) Increase in volume of balloon means it gets bigger by itself. How much it will go bigger depends on the difference in pressure. It is not the work of GHOST !!!!

Prankster God Ganesh learnt the lesson of being kind to animals

Ganesh chaturthi is coming . I am writing a story of God Ganesh during his childhood .


Ganesh is the child of divine couple God Shiva and Goddess Parvati . When he was the child , he was very naughty . He is such a prankster that Goddess Parvati is tired of his pranks he is playing daily .


One day , Ganesh was playing with cat . Soon after wards , his prankness got up and he was seen pulling the tail of the cat  .

Cat was meowing with pain but Ganesh continued to trouble the animal . Goddess Parvati was watching all of these . She felt bad for the animal and decided to teach Ganesh a nice lesson .


Soon Ganesh got bored of what is he doing , he headed towards home . As soon as he reached home , he saw his mother wounded all over her body . Goddess Parvati was moaning in pain .



Disturbed Ganesh ran towards his mother  , and asked her what happened and who did it ? Goddess Parvati replied that Ganesh himself has done this to her .


Ganesh was taken aback . Goddess Parvati said it was her in the form of the cat with which Ganesh was playing . But Ganesh caused her injuries by pulling the tail and troubling the cat .


Ganesh was ashamed of what he has done . He now understood that even animals can feel pain when they got disturbed .


After this incident , he never troubled an animal .
