Why are fighter jets painted grey ??

Fighter jes are painted grey because of several reasons.

1.  Visual camouflage

Fighter jets are painted grey because the colour closely matches with sky and clouds at different altitudes.

This camouflage helps jets  blend into the  background making it tough for enemies to spot them with naked eye.

2.  Reducing radar signature

Modern grey paint on jets often contains materials that absorb rador waves.

This rador absorbent paint reduces the chace of getting detected by enemy radars

4. Heat and light management

Using grey colour paint reduves the risk of  overheating during long drives.

5. Stealth technology

These fights absorb signals from other rador and infrared materials.
