In the village, a former had 4 sons.
Sons are lazy and they have learnt a few bad practices by mixing with their friends.
Farmer came to know of this and he warned his sons against bad habits..
But sons were adamant saying that all their friends are also doing the same.
Farmer didn't say anything but decided to teach them a lesson.
Next day, farmer brought a bundle of ripe mangoes with him.
Intentionally he mixed one rotten mango in the bundle.
Farmer said to his sons to eat mangoes next day morning.
Sons agreed thinking that mangoes must be unripe.
But to their horror, each and every mangoes have become rotten next day.
When they complain about this,
Farmer replied,
There must have been a rotten mango in the bundle
Because of that, other proper mangoes also got rotten.
Same way, one friend who is having bad habits is enough to spoil character of his friends.
It's better to be alone than with these friends.
Sons understood what their father meant to say.
