Who killed the manager ??

 It is a detective puzzle.

A manager was killed. 

There were 3 suspects. 

John, James and Otto. 

Police could find only one clue. 

That is       THE CODE 1221..

With this, police arrested the murderer...

Who is the murderer out of   3  ???

Answer 

Police could not find any evidence but the code. 

Code is     1221.

We know just the name of suspects. 

They are John, James and Otto.

In the code 1221,  2 numbers are repetitive. 

They are  1  and  2. 

1 is getting repeated in the starting and ending. 

2 is getting repeated in the middle. 

As we know the names of 3 suspects, there must be some connection between names and code. 

Looking at the names, 

Name  of 3 rd suspect  Otto  resembles with the code 1221. 

So murderer is      Otto   !!!!
