ಆದರೆ ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿಯಾದ ಆ ಯಜ್ಞ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಂಡ ವನ್ನೇ ಅಲುಗಾಡಿಸಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿತು.

ಇದರಿಂದ ದೇವತೆಗಳು ಭಯಭೀತಾರಾಗಿ ಆ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಗೆಡುವ ಲು ನೋಡಿದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅದರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸುಳಿಯಲೂ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶಿವ ಭೈರವನ ರೂಪ ತಾಳಿ ಯಜ್ಞದ ಸುತ್ತಾ ನರ್ತಿಸಲು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ.

ಕೆಲವೇ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವು ಬೂದಿಯಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಹೋಯಿತು.

ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಕಾರಣವೇನೆಂದು ದೇವೆತೆಗಳು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಶಿವ ಹೇಳಿದ, ಯಜ್ಞದ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೇ 

ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಅಹಂಕಾರದ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಸಾಗಿತು.

ಇದರ ದ್ಯೋತಕವಾಗಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಅಹಂಕಾರದ ನಾಶ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯ ಸೂಚಕವಾಗಿ ಶಿವನು ಆ ಯಜ್ಞದ ಬೂದಿಯನ್ನು ಮೈಗೆ ಬಳಿದುಕೊಂಡ.

ಇದು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದರ ನಾಶ ದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿದೆ.

 My nephew Aniruddha stays in Bengaluru with his parents.

I stay in Udupi with my parents  !!!!

He always do video call to chat with me.

Usually he will be in his room when he dials me.

So I am familiar with the background wall and a window.

But when he called me yesterday, I could see a coconut tree in the background.

I thought Aniruddha must be talking and sitting in the garden.

I asked him the same thing.

Aniruddha didn't say anything.

I continued talking with him.

Soon I observed background is now changed to space  !!!

Different locations started coming as background..... 

Then I realised Aniruddha is using separate software to change the background  !!!!

The heavy snowfall in Japan is due to cold winds from Siberia.

These winds gather moisture from Sea of Japan.

When these winds reach Japan, they release moisture as snow.

 Usually I don't watch Test and One day matches.

I feel they are lengthy.  But today's ODI is  between India and Pakistan.

I.watched first 10 overs and last 10 overs.  Thats all  !!!!

In today's match, Pakistan won the toss and batted first.

In the first 10 overs, Pakistani batsmen didn't take trouble to hit scoring shots.

They were happy taking singles and 2 runs.

During last 10 overs, tailenders had hit some scoring sicers especially in Shami 's bowling.

But tail enders don't last long  !!!!

Pakistan was all out for 241 runs.

I will watch first 10 overs of Indian batting.

As 241 is an easy score to chase,  I think we can predict who is going to win the match in first 10 overs itself !!!

In our house, everyone was watching TV to know the result.

I was feeling bored and instructed Aniruddha to brief me about the result at the end  !!!!!

I went to room and I was relaxing.

After some time, Aniruddha came to room inorder to update me with the result   !!!!!

Aniruddha said,

         O..... T...... H      got this much seats      !!!!!

Hearing this, I suddenly opened my eyes.

I wondered what is  O...... T...... H .....????

A new party  ????  

I got up and came near TV.

I could not control my laughter......

What Aniruddha was saying  O.... T...... H    is not a party.

It is just OTH    meaning  OTHERS    .......

That means not belonging to any of the party .....!!!!!!!

 Once a friend asked Mulla Naseeruddin his age.

Naseeruddin replied that he is 3 years younger than his brother. 

Confused friend asked Naseeruddin that last year he had said he is 2 years younger than his brother

 This bheja fry question I heard it recently on web radio.

Question 

A mobile phone and it's protective case together cost  Rs 110.  Mobile itself is 100 Rs more than its case.  What is the actual value of the mobile phone and its case ???

Answer 

When looking at the first glance, we tend to answer mobile phone is Rs 100 and case Rs 10. 

I thought like that  !!!!

But is it the real answer  ???

If it is, why it would be called bheja fry question  ???!!!

Let us solve it in the methodological way. 

Let the price of the case be X. 

Then as the mobile phone costs 100 more than its case. 

Price of mobile phone is X  +   100

As it is given, both of them together cost Rs 110.

==>>     X   +   X  +  100  =   110

==>>      2X   +    100   =   110

==>>        2X    =   10    (  110  -  100  =  10 )

==>>        X    =   5

Cost of  Protective case of the phone  is     X   is    Rs  5

Cost of mobile phone  =   X  +  100   =  5  +  100  = 105 Rs

Which letter is silent in the word, scent ????

  All of us know the word scent.

It is spelled in the same way as sent or cent.....

So in the word scent, which letter is silent  ???

Is it 's' or is it 'c'   ???

Answer is none of them   !!!!

Such words are called digraph words.

Diagraph word is a combination of two letters representing one sound.

In the case of scent, both of the letters s and c together produce the same sound.

Other examples are science and scissors.

But not every word containing the letters s and c are diagraph words  !!!!

The words such as scam and school too have the letters s and c in them just like scent.

But these are not diagraph words !!!

In school and scam, both the letters sound separately. 

English is truely a funny language   !!!!

with my nephew Aniruddha, I realised that there are not many countries starting with letter 'D'.

Incapable contestants

 Last week Koun Banega Karodpati program was full of incapable contestants,, some were not able to answer the easiest questions that were asked on the show.

I have listed down 2 of the questions which were asked on Fastest Finger First.

A school going kid can arrange these in increasing order. But none of the contestants could give correct answer  !!!!

According to me, correct increasing order depending on speed is

Even this was the easy question but none of the contestants could give correct answer.

This question was asked to a contestant who was unable to answer the above 2 questions.

But somehow she was able to come to hotseat but could not answer this Rs 5,000  question.

The above question was such an easy question.  But requires a slight knowledge of mathematics   !!!

Total no of marks of exam   =   50

Student has svored 50 % in the exam.

==>>  50 %  of   50

Contestant replied 100  !!!

She has to go home with empty hand  as she didn't clear first stage only  !!!!
