While the bus stopped for 5minutes in Mangalore, he noticed that 4 passengers got inside the bus, 3 of them to Udupi and one to Kundapur.

Price of tickets is Rs 1.3 per kilometer.

What is the approximate extra money collected from these 4 passengers ??

Answer 

First we need to estimate the distances from Mangalore to Udupi and Kundapur.

Mangalore to Udupi  ---    56km

Mangalore to Kundapur  ---   90km

The rate is Rs 1.3 per kilometer.

==>>   Fare to Udupi  :   55 *  1.3

==>>                                :   71.50  Rs

Fare to Kundapur  :   90  *  1.3

==>>                             :    117.00 Rs

The approximate extra money collected from passengers to Udupi as there were 3 passengers,

≠=>>    71.5  *  3  =   214.5  Rs

One passenger to Kundapur  =  117.00 Rs

==>>  Total money =  214.5   +   117.0  =   331. 5  Rs  !!!
