Uranus, the mysterious ice giant has 27 known moons.
Moons have distinct almost perpendicular orbit because of Uranus's extreme axis tilt.
Some of such moons are -------
1. Miranda
Most deformed and undersized moon of Uranus. It features patchwork of ridges, valleys and great cliffs.
2. Titania
It is one of largest moons of Uranus. It has deep chasms and frozen surface.
3. Oberon
It is the oldest of Uranus's moon and is dotted with crators.
4. Ariel
It is the brightest of Uranus's moon because of its smooth and ice covered surface.
5. Umbriel
As opposite to Aeriel, it is the darkest moon. It absorbs all the aunlight that strikes its surface.
6. Puck
It is the smallest of all the moons and is almost spherical.
7. Portia
It is a quite small inner moon which is being torn apart by gravitational forces.
8. Cressinda
It has most irregular form and is the most unstudied natural moons of solar system.
