Space based solar power

 Space based solar power is  the concept of capturing solar energy in outer space and transmitting it wirelessly to Earth.

Unlike terrestrial solar panels, which are limited by weather, atmosphere and day-night cycle, these systems can receive high intensity sunlight almost 24*7  !!!

HOW IT WORKS    ???

Giant satellites equipped with light weight photovoltaic cells capture solar radiation in space.

Thus collected energy is converted into either microwaves or laser beams and beamed wirelessly to specific target on Earth.

A large mesh antenna receives the beam and converts back into electricity.

We will be having continuous power!!!  No "night " or " cloudy weather ".

But transporting materials to space results in high launch costs.

Sunlight in space is 144% stronger than what we get on Earth !!!!

But it requires advanced autonomous robotics.
