How do mirrors work ?

                              How do mirrors work ?

We see objects in a mirror. When hit by particles of light called photons , mirror reflects these photons back to us and some reach and enter our eyes.
The photons when hit a smooth surface, such as a mirror, will bounce off of the surface at the same angle at which they had hit the object.
When we stand infront of a mirror, the photons which reflect our image back to our eyes, are hitting the mirror at the same angle in which they are bouncing back.

Gunda is back. . .

I didn't meet Gunda for many days after seeing his miserable condition. I thought he is counting his last days .. .
Yesterday I was sitting in verandah watching pea-hens who came in group to eat mango fruits on nearby trees ; suddenly I saw Gunda coming in the direction of our house.
He must had spotted me , suddenly he changed his path and started walking near pea - hens scolding them for eating mangoes.
I smiled as I know Gunda is trying to impress me. But pea- hens didnt care for him. Seeing his effort going in vain , Gunda came near me with a face covered with shyness.
That time , my parents came outside and he said " hello " to both of them. He didnt come near me as my parents were present. He sat in the corner and started licking his hand !

What is stray current?

Stray current refers to the flow of electricity via buildings , ground or the equipment due to electrical system imbalance or wiring flaws.
It also refers to the existence of electrical potential that can be found across the objects that should not be subjected to voltage.
Small voltages and small amount of stray current do exist within the power system. On the other hand , large amount of voltage could be a sign of a faulty electrical system.
Electrical currents that are not utilized , return to the source via the phase or neutral wires. If an electrical system is not  installed properly , the current can directly disperse to the ground through the equipment or building itself.
In such cases, stray current can exist in small amounts and it would not be a problem. It can be fatal if it is present in dangerously high levels.
The same thing happens while a person gets electrocuted. Our body as it is largely made of water, acts as a conductor for electric current. During rainy season, if we get electrocuted by lighting which has enormous amount of electricity in it , it proves fatal to our lives.
I read news about persons death because of electrocution in newspaper.

What is MERS?

Recently I read an article about MERS. Strange name. Name itself indicates the origin of it.

M. E. R. S. ---- Middle East Respiratory Syndrome

With this , we can now conclude that it is the name of a disease. It is caused by a virus called Corona Virus. These viruses are called by this name since they have crown like projections on their surface.
These viruses commonly cause respiratory illness in mammals including humans.
This virus started making people ill since 2012. It was first identified in Saudi Arabia . Victim had died in the same year.
So far , cases of confirmed MERS infection are reported through out middle east.
