First and last countries to celebrate New Year

 As the world eventually gearing up to welcome New Year 2025,  I have listed down the places or counties according to timezones.

The honor of being the first one to ring in the New Year goes to Kiritimati island as known as Christmas island of Republic of Kiribati.

Close to this place, there is the country of Tonga and Chatham island of New Zealand.

The last places to celebrate New Year are Baker island and Howland island which are the uninhabited territories near US.

 ತುಳುನಾಡು ದೈವಗಳ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಪಂಜುರ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬೈಕಲ್ದಿ ಎಂಬ ದೈವಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಹೊರಟಿರುವುದು ಬಿಲ್ಲವ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರು ಪೂಜಿಸುವ ಜುಮಾದಿ ಎಂಬ ದೈವದ ಕುರಿತು.

ಧೂಮಾಸುರ ಎಂಬ ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ಲೋಕ ಕಂಟಕ ನಾಗಿದ್ದ . ಆತ ಒಬ್ಬ ನರ ಭಕ್ಷಕನಾಗಿದ್ದ.

ಆತನಿಗೆ ಪುರುಷನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯೂ ಏಕಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಸಾವು ಎಂಬ ವರವಿತ್ತು 

ಭಕ್ತರೆಲ್ಲ ರಾಕ್ಷಸನಿಂದ ಪಾರು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಶಿವ ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಯರ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ 

ಅದರಂತೆ ಅವರು ಭೂಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಮಧ್ಯ ಪಾರ್ವತಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಾಪಟ್ಟೆ ಹಸಿವಾಯಿತು 

ಪಾರ್ವತಿಯ ಹಸಿವನ್ನು ತಣಿಸುವ ಶಿವನ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ವಿಫಲವಾದವು 

ಸೋತು ಕೈ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ ಶಿವ ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ತಿನ್ನುವಂತೆ ಪಾರ್ವತಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ

ಅದರಂತೆ ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಶಿವನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಲು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ

ಆದರೆ ಶಿವ ಅವಳ ಗಂಟಲಿನಿಂದ ಆಚೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ..

ಈ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಯರು ಒಂದೇ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖವು ಗಂಡಸಿನದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ದೇಹವು ಹೆಂಗಸಿನದ್ದು.

What is a rogue wave ??

I know Olympus mons is the tallest mountain.

But why would they ask such easy question on a program like this ???

This particular YouTube channel airs one more comedy series by the name Living with Dad.

The  show is about a father and  his  4 children.

Just yesterday new episode was uploaded by the name cookathon.

In that episode, father and son were  trying to cook.

Son was very eager to taste the prepared dish.

That time father scolded him saying that

You are acting like Mahatma Gandhi after hunger strike.......

I felt very angry......

What an insult to Mahatma Gandhi .....

The non violence and hunger strike were the strength of Mahatma Gandhi

 

As Gandhi was having huge followers, British rulers had to listen to him.

We have got our independence through this nonviolent method.

How can these Nigerians make fun of him like that ???

Mahatma Gandhi was doing hunger strike as one of the way to tame British.

He was not doing show off like today's politicians.

This Nigerian government honoured our prime minister with its highest award.

But its citizens  are insulting our father of country.

What do they know about Mahatma Gandhi and his hunger strike ????

I could have written a comment on that video.

 Human is also an  animal.

Babies just born are keeping their eyes closed.  But that doesn't mean they are blind !!!!

Naseeruddin and goat

 Once both Naseeruddin and his friend were quarrelling.

Friend called Naseeruddin  that he smell worst than a goat .!!!

Naseeruddin went near the judge to file a case of slander against his friend.

Judge ordered both Naseeruddin and the goat to come to court.

First judge went near goat to smell and he got fainted when smelling !!!

  

After some time , judge called Naseeruddin near him to do testing of smell 

When Naseeruddin was nearing him ,

                          both goat and judge got fainted  !!!!

On the same way, if we see the options it would be  Denmark.

Because internet domain has the first 2 letters of country name  'de  '.

Like India   => . in

But Denmark is not the correct answer  !!

Correct answer is  Germany  .

The internet domain name is based on German name of Germany which is Deutsche land.

Snakes capable of swallowing humans

 Around 3000 different species of snakes found around the world.

Some are poisonous and some are not. 

Some snakes are even capable of swallowing humans  !!!

Don't depend too much on others

 We know cats and dogs are always quarrelling with each other.

One day, a dog caught hold of a cat on the road. 

Dog started harassing the cat that if cat don't listen to dog then it will kill it.

Cat as it was scared, agreed to  whatever the dog is going to say.

Dog ordered the cat to bring food everyday to dog's place.

Dailly cat was supplying food to dog and dog was becoming lazy as now it is not going out.

This system continued for many days. 

One day cat didn't turn up carrying the food. 

Dog patiently waited for some time and then went in search of cat.

Dog spotted cat sitting on a rock eating chicken. 

Seeing cat, dog was very furious and came running towards cat, barking. 

Hearing barking of dog, cat instantly jumped on nearby rock holding chicken in its mouth. 

But dog could not do anything nor it could jump like cat. 

It had become too much dependent on cat as it was supplying free food everyday and it has forgotten to how to jump also   !!!!
