Why we are asked to keep our phones in flight mode during the air travel ??

 During flights, passengers are asked to switch their phones to flight mode.

Why  ???

Flight mode  disables the phone's wireless communication functions including cellular, WiFi and Bluetooth services.

Other reasons are - - -

1.  Avoid interference with aircraft systems.

2.  Ensure safety and compliance.

3.  Minimise radio frequency emissions.

4.  Preserve battery life.
