Differences between Sea and Ocean

 Sea and Ocean, both are waterbodies. I have listed down the differences between the two.

Sea

1.  Generally smaller.

2. Often partially enclosed by land.

3.  Typically shallower.

4.  Higher salinity.

5.  Supports diverse ecosystem.

6.  May or may not be connected to other seas.

Oceans 

1.  Vast and expansive

2.  Not necessarily near land

3.  Generally deeper 

4.  Lower salinity

5.  Lesser ecosystem

6.  All oceans are inter connected.
