Regardless of the colour of the vehicle, its tyres are always black, despite being made of white rubber ?
About 125 years ago, tyres were used to be white.
But white tyres were not strong enough impacting the performance of the vehicle.
To make tyres more durable and extend their life span, carbon black material is added to the white rubber.
This made tyres stronger and increased their life but also made the tyres black !!!!
