What does black in the name of ' black mamba ', one of world's most venomous snake means ??

1.  It's body colour 

2.  Colour of its eyes 

3.  Colour inside its mouth 

4.  Colour of the place where it belongs 

Answer 

I never heard of this snake nor I saw its photo !!!

Usually snakes are identified by colour of their skin.

Like we have green snake in gardens.

Who have guts to look into its eyes or  mouth  ??!!

Usually I heard about name of the place not about colour of the place !!!

So I decided it must be its body colour ......

I wondered and searched Internet.

The snake got its name because of dark colour of inside of its mouth  !!!

When threatened, black mamba opens its mouth wide, revealing the inky black interior   .....

This serves as warning signal to predators  !!!
