Pilots flying over Himalayas often see 3 Suns at once !!!
This is not an optical illusion.
It is an atmospheric phenomenon known as SUN DOG.
At altitude above 6,000 meters, clouds appear as thin, transparent veil, frequently creating a halo around Sun or Moon.
These ice crystals act as prisms and bend sunlight, producing bright spots on either side of the Sun.
When the crystals are large and perfectly oriented , formes bright areas appear like 2 Sun along with real Sun !!!
