 A group of friends want to share some money within themselves at the ratio 2 : 3 : 5.

If the available money is Rs 120, then how much will each of them get ???

Answer 

We will solve the problem arithmetically. 

First we need to find out the total number of the parts in the ratio.

Ratio is 2 : 3 : 5.

So total parts would be 2  + 3 + 5  = 10

Total amount is Rs 120. 

Each part would be  120 / 10 = 12

So, first friend  2 parts  =  2 *  12  =  24  Rs

Second friend 3 parts  =  3 * 12  =  36 Rs

Third friend 5 parts  =  5 *  12 = 60 Rs

==>> 24 + 36 + 60 = 120 Rs
