India has won the T20 cricket world cup

 Yesterday was the T20 World Cup final match between India and South Africa.

India batted first. 

Openers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli had given a good start as they hit sixes in the first over itself  !!!!

Yansen was the South African fast bowler who got punished by Indian openers in his first over itself. 

I was surprised to see a spinner coming to bowl in the second over of the match

Keshav Maharaj had come to bowl and he was successful in the dismissal of Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant. 

Rishabh Pant was a golden duck.

Then came Surya who was out before shining.

Now India has lost first 3 important wickets. 

But Kohli was there and Axar Patel was promoted to bat. 

This duo were able to increase the run rate by building a good partnership. 

After scoring 47 runs, Axar got out.

The came Dube who had helped India to score good runs. 

But it was Virat Kohli who scored 76 runs to help India to post a competitive total of 176 runs.

I watched only this much. 

In the newspaper, I came to know that India won the match by a superb catch caught by Surya near the boundary line.

Thus,  after 17 years India has won the T20 cricket world cup.
