1. Giraffe
Giraffe has longest tongue in animal kingdom. Giraffes use their tongue for stripping leaves while avoiding sharp thorns.
2. Giant anteater
Lacking teeth, anteater relies on it's sticky and slender tongue. Its tongue flicks in and out at incredible speed so that it can raid ant and termite colonies with ease.
3. Chameleon
Chameleon's tongue stretching outwards in less than a second to snatch unexpecting insects.
4. Pangolin
Pangolins are extraordinary insectivores. Their tongues are not attached to floor of mouth but deep within the chest cavity.
5. Woodpecker
Woodpeckers are the only birds that having a tongue that can wrap around the back of their skull when not in use.
