But in this village, Sun rises twice a day .....!!!!
Rimetea village in Romania sees the Sun rises twice a day.
It is not a myth but a natural phenomenon.
This happens due to Rimetea's unique terrain and mountain alignment.
This natural phenomenon occurs mainly during Summer specially in the month of July.
The reasons are ----
1. Rimetea sits at the foot of a tall limestone massif.
2. At dawn, Sun appears above the horizon for a short time.
3. As the Sun moves, it disapears behind the mountains.
4. A few minutes later, Sun reappears creating the illusion of second sunrise.
These mountains temporarily block sunlight despite the Sun being above the horizon..
