1. Whiskers are super sensitive sensors
Cat whiskers may look like simple facial hair. Beyond making cats adorable , whiskers are deeply connected to their senses. ,
They are deeply embedded in cat's body and connected to nerve endings.
With this , cats can sense obstacles and movements around them.
2. Whiskers show mood changes
When the cat is relaxed , whiskers usually rest to the side.
If the whiskers are pushed forward , cats may be curious, playful or little aggressive.
When pulled back tightly against the face , it is the sign of fear or stress.
3. Whiskers help measure spaces
Typically , cat's whiskers are about the same width as its body. This allow them to gauge doorways, tunnels and gaps. This prevents them from getting stuck !!!
4. Whiskers help in hunting
5. Whiskers exist on other body parts too !!!
Cats also have whiskers above their eyes, on their chin and even on back of their front legs.
6. Whiskers should never be cut !!!
