Zinda Peer

 Zinda peer means living saint.

This name is given to one of the mughal emperors, Aurangzeb.

Everyone must be wondering why does a fanatic and bigot king like Aurangzeb called by this name?

Aurangzeb was the emperor of the largest mughal empire. He led an austere life.

He did not take a single penny from the public treasury for his personal expenses.

He earned his own money by sewing prayer caps and writing the Quran.

He never allowed his any family member to take undue advantage of their positions.

He followed sharia completely.

Though Aurangzeb was the fanatic and bigot king, he was called by this name. (  I think from his own religious people  ). 

The dead pot

  Once Mulla Naseeruddin borrowed a pot from his neighbour. When returning the pot, Naseeruddin kept one more small pot inside the borrowed pot and returned it.

The neighbour while receiving the pot, sensed that there is another pot inside the big pot and asked for the reason.

That time Naseeruddin said the pot he borrowed has given birth to another small pot !!

The greedy neighbour thought what happened was for his profit. He didn't say anything but received the pot. 

After some days,  again Mulla Naseeruddin asked for the pot with neighbour. Neighbour happily gave the pot. 

Days passed but Mulla Naseeruddin didn't return the borrowed pot. At last, 

neighbour asked Mulla Naseeruddin to return the pot. 

That time Mulla Naseeruddin with a heavy heart said your pot is dead. 

 Neighbour could not believe his ears. He started yelling at Naseeruddin saying that how can a non living thing like pot, die?? 

Naseeruddin without losing his cool, replied if a non living pot gives birth 

then it is not a surprise that it is dead  !!!! 

Neighbour realised that his own words are returning back to him. He didn't say anything and left the place. 

Ungrateful tree had the tragic end

 In a village, there was a huge tree. Village children used to come and they were playing different games under the shade of the tree .

But prankster children are not just playing . They used to climb the tree and pluck the leaves and fruits of tree forcibly .

They used to scratch the trunk of tree and were writing their names . All these bad works of children used to hurt the tree a lot  . 

One day a family of crow built their nest on the branches of tree . Male crow saw the evil works of children and how much the tree is suffering because of that . It decides to help the tree .

Crow came with the plan and shared it with the tree. As soon as the tree agreed  , it started to execute the plan . 

Plan was simple . Crow went to the graveyard nearly and collected some bones . Crow dropped these bones in and around the tree . 

As usual children came to play . Soon they spotted bones everywhere . They were scared by this and never came near the tree to play thinking that some ghosts are staying on tree .

Tree was very happy and thanked the crow . It asked what it can do in return . That time crow family replied that they are expecting their laid eggs to hatch soon . They requested the tree to look after the eggs and protect them from the predators . 

Tree agreed . One snake was keeping his eye on the eggs and wants to eat them . But he soon came to know that tree is guarding the eggs . 

Snake tried to be the friend of tree by saying good words  . Tree was impressed by the fake politeness of snake and soon they became friends . 

Now snake started to say bad things about crow's family . Snake said tree is wasting its time by becoming the guardian of unhatched eggs .

Tree thought snake is telling the truth . It was so much biased by the words of snake that it agreed to allow the snake to eat the eggs . Snake happily went and ate the eggs . 

Crow family returned,, they were very sad by seeing the empty nest . They realised that the tree didn't keep its words . Soon they left the place . 

Now snake is staying with tree itself . It was not allowing anyone to come near the tree . It was scaring them  by hissing continuously . 

Now no one was dared to come near the tree . Soon the news spread in the village about the snake and ghost tree . People decided to stop these things . 

They burnt the tree itself . Along with tree even the snake got burnt alive . 

Topple is making Indian batting order to topple

Tonight is a the final one day International cricket match between India and England.

England has batted first and gave the score of 259 runs to India for chasing..

Now India has started batting. 

India has lost opener Shikher Dhawan for 1 run. 

Then lost Rohit Sharma for 17 runs. 

Then Virat Kohli for 17 runs. 

India has lost first 3 big wickets  before reaching 50 runs. 

All these wickets taken by English bowler Toppley. 

He has broken the back bone of Indian batting order itself. 

Who is very close to God ?

  This incident happened during Ramayana times . Rama was crowned king . 

Once sage Narada came to visit Sri Ram . He was informed that Sri Ram is in his room . Narada went there .

He saw Hanuman is guarding the room from outside . Narada went near Hanuman and said his desire to meet Sri Ram .

Hanuman allowed him to go inside . Narada entered the room and saw Sri Ram writing something on a notebook .

Narada was curious to know what Sri Ram is writing . He came near Sri Ram and asked about the same . Sri Ram replied he is writing the names of his devotees .

Narada was anxious to know if Sri Ram has written his name in the book or not . He requested Sri Ram that he will have a quick look at the written list .

Sri Ram agreed and handed over the book to Narada to see . Narada quickly had a look to check whether his name is there or not .  He was pleased to find his name on the top of the first page itself !

After this , he wanted to know at what point Hanuman's name will come . He searched the whole book . But he could not find name of Hanuman !!

Narada was very surprised . He came out of room . He said the same to Hanuman . Hanuman was not at all worried . He just smiled without saying anything .

Narada again went inside the room to ask Sri Ram about why name of Hanuman is not there in the list Sri Ram is preparing . 

He saw Sri Ram is writing in different notebook . Again Narada wanted to know what Sri Ram is writing .Sri Ram replied that he is writing the names of devotees for whom he himself prays .

Narada had a quick look . There he saw the name of Hanuman at the top of the page .

Now Narada realised who is the real devotee .
