In my house, washing machine is having its own place away from bathroom !!!
But nowadays, I observed that people are accomodating washing machine inside the bathroom !!!
But this poses life threatening condition.
Washing machines are significantly heavy and have a large amount of vibration. As a result internal wiring eventually breaks down.
If the live electric wire makes contact with wet end of pump of washing machine, electric current travels through discharged water.
As the water has high electrolytic conductivity, the shower we are taking will serve as the termination point for leakage current !!!!
What can be done ???
WAITING !!!!
We must allow any left over water to drain completely and also allow the whole system to shut down completely.
Waiting of minimum 30 to 40 minutes is necessary to take shower after the " END " light turns off from washing machine !!!!
