Friend in need is friend indeed !!

In a forest , all animals are living a peaceful life . Out of them  ,  there were 3 animals rabbit  , mouse and an ant . They were friends of one another .

One day a hunter entered the forest . He had a goal of catching a rabbit alive .

So he set up a trap . He placed a juicy carrot on ground . He tied the carrot with a rope . The other end of the rope is connected to a web such that if anyone touch the carrot , web will fall over that person from above , trapping him inside the web .

Hunter did all the arrangements and he hid himself behind the tree . He was waiting for his prey to come to eat the juicy carrot .

Rabbit , mouse and ant came in that way talking with each other . Rabbit instantly spotted the carrot from faraway distance . He said the same with his friends .

Ant suspected something fishy . It thought how can a carrot be placed on ground in a forest ? It warned its friend rabbit regarding the same .

But rabbit was not ready to listen . His mouth was watering already by watching the juicy carrot . It just jumped and reached the place where the carrot has been kept .

Rabbit happily lifted the carrot with its hand . At the same time  , a web has fallen over rabbit from above by trapping him inside the web . 

Rabbit started regretting for not listening to words of ant . That time he heard the sound of footsteps of hunter . Hunter has come out of his hideout .

Hunter was coming near to catch the rabbit . Ant and mouse had watched what all had happened . Now they have to do something fast to save their friend rabbit who is already shivering in fear .

Ant quickly thought of a plan . It went near the hunter and bit his feet so hard that he started yelling and jumping here and there .

At the same time , mouse had started to cut the web using its teeth from the other side . Soon it created a hole in the web so that rabbit can safely come out .

As soon as rabbit is free and has come out of the web , all 3 animals ran in 3 different directions . Hunter rubbing his feet , came near the trap .

There he didn't see any rabbit inside the web but a big hole in the other side of web .

First suicide bomber in Indian history

 I am not talking about the fanatic suicide bombers who are creating chaos in the name of their religion.

I am talking about a patriotic lady called Kuyili lived in pre independent India.

Kuyili was born in 18th century in Tamilnadu. She was an army commander of Queen Velu Nachiyar.

Kuyili was a devout commander of Velu Nachiyar and saved her life on many occasions.

Kuyili was known for her suicide attack in 1780 on a Fort of British East India Company.

When East India Company was planning to attack the kingdom of Queen Velu Nachiyar, they made a plan.

Kuyili applied ghee on her body and set herself ablaze. 

The way she was running towards the armoury of East India Company, everyone thought her as fire ghost.

Later she jumped into the armoury and set everything to fire stored there. Thus she destroyed each and every single weapon.

She is considered the first woman suicide bomber and also the first woman martyr in the Indian history. 

Naseeruddin 's challenge

 Naseeruddin and King had good relationship.

One day both of them sat talking. That time they were discussing 

about education.

Naseeruddin started bragging about himself and said he can make 

his pet donkey to read and write. 

King did not believe Naseeruddin. 

Naseeruddin challenged King that he will make his donkey to read 

and write.  As donkeys are famous for their slow mentality, he 

asked 8 years of time to do the challenge. 

King was confident that Naseeruddin can not fulfil what he has 

said, readily agreed to give 8 years of time.

Naseeruddin asked the king to give the prize money.  Similarly 

even king said if he fails, he has to undergo severe punishment. 

Both of them agreed to the conditions. 

Outside friends of Naseeruddin were not happy with Naseeruddin

for accepting the challenge.

Everyone knew that it is impossible to make a donkey read and 

write. 

But Naseeruddin was tension free. 

He said anything can happen in 8 years of time.

1. King himself could die.

2. The donkey could die.

So without worrying about what could happen next, Naseeruddin 

planned to enjoy the present day with the prize money. 

Story regarding Nagara Panchami Festival

 Today is Nagara Panchami Festival.

Here is the story regarding this. 

Long ago, there lived a poor brahmins called Ved Sharma.

He had 8 boys and 1 girl by the name Sushila as children.

Ved Sharma was feeding food to a snake. In return, snake was giving one gold coin daily to Ved Sharma. With that, the family was passing through the days. 

The boys when they were grown up, observed this.  Now they have become lazy and greedy.

They started pressurising snake to give more gold coins daily to them. 

Snake was getting angry day by day.  One day, its patience limit was over and it bit all the 8 boys to death.

Sushila was getting anxious and worried. She prayed to God Vishnu for the solution. 

Pleased by her prayers, God Vishnu ordered snake King Vasuki to make the boys to live with good knowledge and fortune. 

That day was Panchami and from then onwards, it was believed that as an auspicious day and offering prayers to Snake God will give good fortunes. 

Why tube light pops when broken ?

 Tube light is basically a fluorescent lamp that uses electricity to excite

 mercury vapour present inside the tube light . Tube light is filled with

 mercury vapour in low pressure along with argon or neon gas .

When the mercury vapour is excited , it results in the plasma formation

 which produces short wave ultraviolet  light . This causes the phosphor to

 fluorescent the visible light .

This emission takes place in low pressure . Low pressure is such that it is

 just 0.3% of atmospheric pressure . When the tube light breaks , these low

 pressure gases are exposed to atmospheric pressure , thus come out with a

 pop sound .
