Why did the water started to flow outside ?

 There is a empty glass jar with a hole at the top . Now glass jar is filled half with

 water . Meanwhile a balloon is fully blown and was tied to the mouth of jar

 completely covering it.

Now something weird happens . As soon as we cover the mouth of jar with fully

 blown balloon , the water which was at the bottom of jar now rises up and starts

 to flow through the hole which is at the top . Water continue to flow out till all the

 air inside the balloon gets zero .

Now what is the reason behind this ? This is definitely not a witchcraft . It is the

 science experiment on atmospheric pressure of air .

Now when we started to fill the jar with water  , we were doing it in atmospheric

 pressure of air . Now when the fully blown balloon is tied to the mouth of jar then

 volume of the air increases .

With temperature remaining same and according to Charles law , volume is

 directly proportional to pressure . Hence pressure of air becomes more than

 atmospheric pressure .

Now air starts putting this extra pressure on already there water . Meaning it tries

 to displace the water from inside of jar . Water finds a way to go out through the

 hole .

This process continue till all the extra pressure from air comes back to

 atmospheric pressure of air which was earlier .

Surely I had goosebumps when I saw water started to flow outside all of a sudden !!

Why did the water go up in the glass jar ?

 Recently I saw the demonstration of a scientific experiment . Experiment is very

 simple . The illustrator comes in holding a glass jar with a cap on its top . The

 glass jar contains little amount of water .

In the beginning itself , illustrator makes it clear that the pressure on both glass jar

 and on its topmost cap area have maintained same . Now he just holds the glass

 jar in his hand . Suddenly the water which was there in the bottom of glass jar ,

 moves up and was collected in the top most cup area .

Remember he has not put any pressure . Pressure is same on every position . But

 also water moves up. What makes the water to go up ?

It is based on the principle of Charles law which states that if the pressure is kept

 constant , then the volume is directly proportional to temperature .

T1 / T2 = V1/V2 if p is constant.

Where T1,T2 =temperature V1,V2 = volume p= pressure.

Now in this case , as the pressure is constant , the temperature of glass jar is

 lesser compared to human hand temperature . So the air which is present in the

 empty spaces inside the glass jar gets heated up, because of human body

 temperature . Hence it starts expanding .

At this time , it tries to occupy the position which is already water is using . So it

 displaces the water to another position which is the top most cup . 

This is the reason behind the displacement of water inside the glass jar .

Demon called Vighnasura

 There lived a king named Abhinandana.  He was having the ambition of conquering heaven.  To fulfil his dream, he started doing penance so that he could attain special powers.

But king of heaven Indra did not like it. He felt insecure. He tried to stop Abhinandana by doing penance. 

He created a demon call Vighnasura to wreck havoc in Abhinandana 's deed. 

Vighnasura was successful in stopping Abhinandana. But later in a became uncontrollable. 

Now he is disturbing every sacred work. Devatas were worried about this. 

They asked God Ganesh to help them in getting rid of Vighnasura. God Ganesh agreed. 

Vighnasura was not a match to God Ganesh in battle.  Vighnasura apologised. 

Pleased God Ganesh awarded him with the boon.. That is  Vighnasura must not create any trouble in the work which is started with his blessings. 

Otherwise Vighnasura is free to do anything he want with work without blessings of God Ganesh. 

Why does the sound of water change as bucket is filling from empty to full?

 I observed that when we start to fill an empty bucket with water, in the beginning

 we hear a loud sound of water touching the bottom of bucket . As the bucket gets

 filled with water, the sound becomes shriller gradually . 

Now when we have just the empty bucket, the whole space available inside the

 bucket is filled with air . Now we have turned on the tap and the water has started

 to fall . 

When water is getting filled, it occupies the space which was held by the air earlier.

 The previous air column which was made now slowly getting less and less . As

 sound requires medium to travel, and in this case it is air, the length of the air

 column is becoming shorter . 

So sound takes lesser time to vibrate, when the bucket is getting full.than the

 earlier . Lesser time for vibration means we hear the sound slowly . That's why

 when the bucket is empty, more time is available for the sound to vibrate, and we

 hear maximum sound. As the bucket is getting filled, lesser time for vibration and

 shriller is the sound . 

 

Poetry of village head

 Mulla Naseeruddin lives in a village.  The village head was having the habit of

 writing poetry. He was expecting other people to listen to the poetry and

 appreciate it.

One day village head was sitting in the coffee shop and sipping hot coffee. That

 time he saw Mulla Naseeruddin entering the coffee shop.

He asked Mulla Naseeruddin to sit next to him so that he can recite the poem

 written by him to Naseeruddin. 

After telling the poem, village head eagerly asked for Mulla Naseeruddin 's opinion

. Naseeruddin replied it as very bad.

Village head was very angry by hearing that. He ordered the police to put

 Naseeruddin in jail for 4 days. 

Mulla Naseeruddin was released from jail after 4 days.  Naseeruddin went to the

 coffee shop to have coffee. 

Again there was village head sitting. This time also he asked Naseeruddin to listen

 and give his opinion to the new poem written by him. 

Listening to that, Mulla Naseeruddin got up and started walking out. Village head

 was surprised and asked him where is he going? 

Mulla Naseeruddin replied he is going to jail as he already know what

 could be the result !!!

ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನ - -

ಮೊದಲು ಬಟಾಟೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕುಕ್ಕರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ . ತಣ್ಣಗಾದ ನಂತರ ಅದರ ಸಿಪ್ಪೆ ತೆಗೆದು ಸ್ಮಾಷ್ ಮಾಡಿ . ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊಸರು ಸೇರಿಸಿ . ಉಪ್ಪು ಬೆರೆಸಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕಲಸಿ. ನಂತರ ನೀರುಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿ ಮೆಣಸು ಹಾಕಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬೆರೆಸಿ .

ಈಗ ಬಟಾಟೆ ಗೊಜ್ಜು ರೆಡಿ .

Don't be pessimistic in life .....

 One day a man went to market to buy vegetables . Before buying , he just wanted

 to make sure that the vegetables are fresh . 

He found a shop where many , different types of vegetables had been kept for sale

 . He went near the place where tomatoes had been kept .

He selected a tomato and just pressed it . It had grown wrinkles in it . He decided

 that the tomato is overgrown . He went near the heap of ladies fingers .

He selected one of them and tried to break the bottom part of it . But he could not

 . If he could had broken the bottom part of ladies finger , it would have meant that

 they are fresh .

He finally decided that the vegetables in this shop are all overgrown . No fresh

 vegetables to be found . Dejected by this , he went near the shop keeper and

 accused him of selling overgrown vegetables in his shop .

Shop keeper patiently listened to all allegations and then replied , " dont come to

 conclusion by checking just one of them . May be there were some of overgrown

 vegetables in them . But not all them. Don't be so pessimistic . Just check out in

 other side . You will find fresh ones for sure . "

Man understood what shop keeper trying to say . He later found fresh vegetables

 in the same shop .

Lesser known form of goddess Vinaayaki

Vinaayaki is the feminine form of God Vinaayak or God Ganesh.

There was a demon named Andhaka . He was lured by Goddess Parvati's beauty

 and tried to grab her . It is almost impossible to fight with him because he was

 blessed with a boon that every single drop of his blood which touches the ground

 will result in the formation of the demon himself .

Only the way left to tame the demon is to make sure that the blood drop from

 demon's body don't touch the ground . 

Goddess Parvati knew all of these and requested each and every devine being for

 help . She knew that every devine being is composed of both male and female

 forms . 

On Parvati's request each and every devine being has sent their female form near

 her . Such feminine form of God Ganesh is Vinaayaki .

These all feminine form drank all the blood drops fell from demon's body and

 made sure that they didn't touch the ground . Meanwhile God Shiva was

 successful in killing the demon Andhaka .

Narada cursed God Vishnu !!

We all know that sage Narada is the ardent follower of God Vishnu . He was

 always seen chanting the name of God . But there was an incident which resulted

 in sage Narada cursing God Vishnu which finally resulted in Rama Avatar .

Sage Narada once got attracted by the beauty of a woman named

  Vishwamohini . Narada wanted to marry her . That time itself , he came to

 know that a Swayamvara has been arranged for Vishwamohini wherein the girl

 can choose her groom by herself without any pressure .

Narada thought many princes and kings would come to attend the swayamvara . If

 Narada attends the event in his original sage form , everyone will laugh at him .

 That's why Narad thought of asking God Vishnu's help .

He went near God Vishnu and said his wish . He asked God Vishnu to change him

 into a handsome young man so that whoever notice him , wants to marry him !!

God Vishnu thought it is the right time for him to take the avatar . As he is an

 almighty , he already knew the outcome of his work . God Vishnu assured Narada

 of his help .

When Narada came home , he observed that he was wearing colourful and costly

 clothes . Narada was very happy that God Vishnu has kept his promise of turning

 him into a handsome young man .

Narada went to the venue of swayamvara . There everyone were looking at him .

 Narada was very happy that he has transformed into a handsome young man and

 everyone is appreciating it .

He was given a seat and was waiting for the swayamvara to begin . Soon ,

 Vishwamohini entered the venue holding garland in her hand . As soon as she

 saw the face of Narada she started to laugh continuously .

Narada didn't know what is happening . Felt insulted , he started to leave the place

 . At that time , he saw his reflection of his face on water . To his horror  , his face

 was turned into that of a monkey !!

Narada was enraged . He directly went near God Vishnu and cursed him for what

 he has done to Narada . Narada cursed God Vishnu that he must born as a

 human and he should depart from his wife and to trace her  , he must

 seek the help of monkeys .









This is the starting point of Ramayana . Curse of Narad helped God Vishnu to

 take the ram avatar .
