Paradox

                                         Paradox
Once upon a time , in a village there are brothers residing in neighbouring houses. But there is rivalry between them. They were not ready to see each other's face also. There is no contact between the family members also.
A mango plant was sprouting in elder brother's place. So, elder brother thought if he will look after the plant well, it will grow into a tree and he may enjoy mango fruit that will grow on it. So, everyday he used to water it and was seen putting fertiliser to its roots.
But to his dismay, the plant grew into a big tree and it covered the younger brother's place also. But elder brother continued to water it hoping that the fruit will grow in his side. But, in the tree the fruits were there only in younger brother's portion of tree.
Younger brother had seen the fruit. And he used pesticides on his part of tree. So he will get fruits which are not affected by insects. Finally, there were nice mango fruits on the tree. But the real problem started now. Each of brothers are saying that they have right on fruit. So, quarrel between them reached court room also. Now brothers are in court.
In the court, judge heard arguments of both sides. But to give decision, he took much time. Finally, the verdict came saying that both the brothers must share the fruits equally. Though ,they are not happy with the verdict, brothers returned home. And thought of plucking the fruits next day as it is very late. But next day, when they went near the tree, the tree already had died.
Because ,brothers were busy in court proceedings, no one had watered it. Or put fertiliser or pesticides. And tree died waiting that someone will take care of it. Now, none of the brothers are able to have mango fruit as there is no tree itself !

                             Daughter-in-law's wisdom
Once upon a time , in a distant place there was a house. In it , old couple were living with their son and daughter in law. But they were struggling to meet the two ends of the string. There was much poverty in their house.Their son was doing much hard work so that they can live a luxurious life. But it was going in vain. All were depressed because of this.
One day the old man of the house saw 3 people sitting outside of the house. He thought they must have forgot the way and they are sitting outside the house. He served them with water and something to eat. Then he asked them who are they and where are they going?
For the question, one of the men answered that they are the angels of  richness ,success and love. And he said that whom oldman, wants to enter the house , he can call him. The old man was puzzled by this. He didnt know what to answer. He said he will discuss with the family members and then he will tell. For this , the angels agreed.
Old man hurried inside the house. He called his wife and son to say the thing. His wife said We will call angel of richness. All of our problems will get solved. But his son didnt agree with his mother. He said We will call angel of success . Then automatically richness will come.  There was a heated discussion on this matter between them.
At that time, hearing all the chaos ,daughter-in-law had come out and was listening to the arguments. Then she said It is better to call inside the angel of LOVE . If there is no love between us, then what is the use of success and richness?
Hering this, all the 3 suddenly realised the truth behind the words. So, finally they agreed to call the angel of love inside the house. Like wise, old man rushed outside and said The angel of love can come inside. Hearing this , all the 3 angels were ready to come inside the house. Seeing this, old man said only the angel of love can come inside.
At that time, angel of love replied "Where love is there, richness and success will also be there. If you had called other angel , then rest of us will not come inside. But now, all of us will come inside". Hearing this, old man thanked his daugher-in-law in mind. And they lived happily afterwards.

Where is God?

                                              Where is God?
Once upon a time there lived a King. He was a good administartor. One day he threw out a question and asked the people of his country to answer. He said if the answers are agreeable to him, he will give half of his kingdom to the person who answered. His questions were---
1. What is the work of God?
2.Where the God is?
3. How to reach God?
Many people came and answered the questions. But king was not happy with the answers. One day , to his court room a villager came. He said he will answer the questions. But he kept the condition. Since he is elder to King, King has to give his chair to him and King has to dress up like him as a token of respect. King agreed.
Now, King dress like villager and the villager sat on the chair of King. Now. the villager started answering the questions.
1. The work of God is to make rich man poor and the poor man as rich according to their good deeds conducted.
2. Villager ordered a lamp. The lamp gave its light to everywhere. Like wise, God is not in any one place. He is everywhere.
3. As all of us know, ghee comes from milk. But one has to do butter from it. It requires lots of hardwork and patience. Likewise, to reach God , one has to do good works and always think about him. It requires patience. Then we can reach God.

Who is great?

                                              Who is great?
Once upon a time there lived a King. He was  very  generous. In order that people remember him, he decided to construct his own statues. He called sculptors and ordered the work. They used the best stones available for the statues.
After the completion of constructing the statues, King went to see the ongoing work. He was very happy to see the statues which were made just like him. But under one of the statues , he observed a sparrow is constructing its nest.
King was very furious by seeing this. He ordered the guards to throw away the nest. The sparrow heard the King's order. It directly went near the King. It asked the King whether the statues were of his?
King proudly said YES. Then it asked whether the materials used were of his? King proudly said he ordered the best available materials .
Finally, Sparrow asked whether he made the stone? For this question King became silent. Seeing his silence, the sparrow said "GOD CREATED EVERYTHING . INCLUDING YOU AND ME. FOR ME CONSTRUCTING NEST,GOD DIDNT OBJECT. THEN WHO ARE YOU TO OBJECT?"
Hearing this,King understood his foolishness and allowed sparrow to construct the nest.
Moral : God is ultimate. We all are just his puppets.

Story of HAYAGREEVA

                                           Story of Hayagreeva
Hayagreeva is considered as one of the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Saint Vadiraj worshipped him as main deity. Hayagreeva means half portion of horse's (head  and neck)and the remaining half portion(body) is of human's.
Actually there are two Hayagreevas. The first Hayagreeva is the sun of saint Kashyapa. He was mischievous. He did tapa and worshipped devas. He got the boon that he will get killed only by another Hayagreeva like him.
Till that time there were no other Hayagreevas. So,this Hayagreeva got a feeling that no one can kill him. He started torturing the devas. Then devas worshipped Vishnu so that they can get rid of this Hayagreeva.  Vishnu readily agreed to help them.
But the demon Hayagreeva proved to be invincible. So.even Vishnu could not fight with him because of the effect of the boon the demon got. So,Vishnu decided to take a break and went to rejuvenate his strength. In Himalayas,Vishnu was doing yogasana and tapa.
Again ,devas came asking help from him. But seeing him doing tapa, devas  could not disturb him. So.they asked a swarm of termites to help them. The sting of the termites was so strong that Vishnu's head got seperated from his body.
Now,devas got scared and they worshipped Goddess Durga. Durga said them not to panic. Then she asked the devas to attach the head of a horse to the body of Vishnu's body. Thus,God Hayagreeva birth happened.
Now,devas worshipped God Hayagreeva and prayed to him that demon Hayagreeva must be killed by him. Hearing this, God Hayagreeva went to fight with demon Hayagreeva. Because of the effect of the boon the demon got, God Hayagreeva killed the demon thus ending the woes of devas.

Equality

                                                Equality
Sanju is studying in lower secondary school. He is the only son of rich parents. So,he is coming to school in a posh car. And also for the afternoon lunch, the servents are bringing the lunch for him. The lunch will be hot and it can be seen that it is freshly prepared.
The other children of Sanju's class are not so rich. So,they are having the lunch prepared in home in morning. It would be cold and sometime tasteless while having it in afternoon time. Children are seeing Sanju's freshly prepared lunch everyday in hope. But Sanju is not sharing his lunch with anyone. He thinks it is only for him.
So,Sanju is not having many friends also in class because of this nature. Sanju thinks himself as superior to others. One day, their class teacher has been changed. Now its the new teacher Keshav Sir. Keshav Sir first day itself observed the unnatural behaviour among students.
So,he decided to change the atmosphere of class. As the first step,he said from nowonwards they will share their lunch with each other. And he will also, join them. Students are happy. So ,that afternoon, all the students sat in the ground for lunch including Keshav Sir. All shared their lunch with each other. Though, Sanju is not interested in all this, he had to obey Sir.
For the first time,Sanju experianced a new feeling. All the students shared their meal. Then afterwards,a feeling of togetherness developed among students. All students, shared not only their meal but also their feelings towards each other. Now ,Sanju has many friends in class. And this year he has also received the award of best student.
Moral --- Equality is a best quality . All of us are equal.
