India won in last over thriller !!!

  Yesterday was the second T20 match between India and New Zealand. 

It was the do or die match for India. India had to win this match to keep the series alive.

New Zealand won the toss and batted first. Captain Hardik introduced spin bowling very early as Chahal came to bowl. 

This trick worked really well as Chahal was successful to clean bowled the New Zealand opener Allen. 

Indian spinners took most of the New Zealand wickets.

New Zealand was able to score just 99 runs in 20 overs  !!!

No New Zealand batsmen scored beyond 20 runs. Highest score was 19 !! 

Low target always makes work easier.

I thought like that. But reality was different. 

The track was spin friendly. 

As New Zealand batsmen struggled in front of Indian spinners, same way India struggled.. 

It was difficult to bat in front of spin bowling, scoring sixers and boundaries are distant dream.

Some how India came near target scoring only singles. 

The  match was dragged till last over. 

In the last over, India needed 3 runs from 2 balls. 

The way India was batting, it seemed taking 3 runs is also difficult.. 

I thought match is going to be tied. 

But finally, Surya was successful in hitting the boundary thereby confirming the win of India. 

Failure of Indian openers

 Yesterday was the T20 match between India and New Zealand.

New Zealand had scored 178 runs in 20 overs. 

New Zealand batsmen scored easily and Indian bowlers were costly. 

That too last over of match bowled by Arshdeep was proved very costly.

Umran Malik too got punished. 

Indian openers failed to score. 

When the score was just 15 runs, India had lost first 3 wickets  !!!

Only duo of Surya and Hardik tried to confront New Zealand bowlers.

But when they both were out, India surrendered. 

Birbal and the donkey with the mystic power

  It was the court of Akbar.

Akbar was worried. Some valuable things from the court has been stolen. 

It has become really hard to track down the thief. 

Finally, Akbar asked Birbal 's help in tracing the thief.

Birbal agreed to help. 

Next day morning, Birbal came to the court with a donkey. 

Birbal said, " this donkey I have, is having mystic power. As all of you know some valuable things are missing from court. I request all the courtiers to come to the room where the mystic donkey is kept.

One by one, each of you must hold its tail. Donkey will come to know who is the thief just by touching its tail.  "

Everyone agreed. 

Every courtier went to room and held the tail of donkey. 

Now everyone is curious to know how the donkey is going to find out who is the thief. 

Birbal asked every courtier to stand in line. 

After that, he started closely observing the hands of every courtier. 

Finally, he caught the thief  !!!!

Everyone were surprised. Thief also admitted to his theft and returned the things which had been stolen. 

Birbal explained, " I had applied scent to tail of donkey. Donkey don't have mystic power. But after listening to my words, thief got alerted. He didn't touch the tail of the donkey thinking that it may reveal his name.

From every courtier's hand, I was getting the smell of fragrance. But not from the hands of thief as he didn't touch the tail. That's how I nabbed him ".

Everyone were speechless. 

Foolish crocodile

  In a lake, there lived a crocodile. It was getting old and now its difficult for   

it to hunt down preys like earlier.

So,, it thought of a plan. It contacted the fox and said that it is appointing fox

 as its minister. 

From now onwards,, work of fox is to bring a new animal everyday as food

 for crocodile. 

After killing the animal, both fox and crocodile will share the food equally

 between them. 

Fox readily agreed to the offer. 

Fox decided to start the work immediately. On the way, it found a rabbit

 sitting. 

By seeing the rabbit, fox went near of it and said King of lakes wants to

 have a word with it. 

Hearing that, rabbit was surprised and said it don't know any king of lakes

 and there's nothing to talk about. 

Fox was disappointed. 

Next day, fox thought of a plan. It said to crocodile to lay down under the

 shade of tree as if it is dead. 

When crocodile did like that, fox put some flowers on body of crocodile and

 went searching for rabbit. 

When fox found rabbit, it started crying and said that king of lakes is dead

 and atleast now rabbit can come to pay last respect. 

Rabbit agreed and went with fox. 

There it saw crocodile laying down. 

Rabbit felt something fishy. 

Rabbit said to fox that it has heard dead crocodiles wag their tails. But

 here dead king is not wagging its tail. 

Hearing that, crocodile which is acting as dead, suddenly started to wag its

 tail. 

Seeing that, rabbit escaped from the place. 

Fox vowed not to work with foolish crocodile any more. 

After T20 series, India won the ODI series also

  Yesterday was the second one day International cricket match between India and New Zealand. 

New Zealand were all out for just 108 runs. 

In New Zealand playing 11, only 3 batsmen managed to score double digits. 

That too below 50 runs. 

The highest recorded score is 32 runs by Philips. 

Rest all are single digit. 

The score card of New Zealand clearly shows  how well Indian bowlers performed. 

New Zealand batting session started with the score 0 run for 1 wicket. 

I was  curious to watch Bracewell batting. 

Bracewell was out . Centurion of previous match Bracewell departs for 22 runs .

New Zealand were 37 for 5 wickets in 16 overs.

They could not complete 50 overs. 

India easily chased the total of 108 runs. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Gill were going good.

I thought India would reach the target without losing wickets. 

Rohit Sharma was out after scoring half century. 

Kohli was also out. 

Ishan and Gill together finished the remaining work. 

India with the help of its bowlers won the match. 

Naseeruddin and his pet donkey

 Mulla Naseeruddin had a pet donkey. The donkey was hard-working. It

 used to do each and every work Naseeruddin used to say. 

Now it is getting old. Now it is difficult for it to do work said by its master.

 Naseeruddin thought of selling it for whatever the amount it will fetch.

Same way, Naseeruddin went to the market with the donkey. He sold the

 donkey to the broker he met there for 200 rs. 

As the donkey was his pet, he wanted to know who is going to buy it?? He

 stood there in the market watching.

After buying the donkey, broker wanted to sell it to someone. He kept the

 donkey for the auction. 

Before beginning the auction, broker started to say why it is good to buy the donkey. 

He started listing out the works it can do. He also started saying about how

 good its breed is. 

By listening to that, people started participating in the auction. First person

 said he would give 300 rs. 

Second person got up and said he is ready to give 500 rs for the donkey. As

 the auction went on, price also started increasing. 

Naseeruddin was watching all of this drama. He came to know the good

 characters of his pet donkey of which he was not aware of. !!!

Now the auction price is 1000 rs for the donkey. 

Naseeruddin thought he had done a great mistake by selling his donkey who

 is having such good characters which he was not aware of. 

Now Naseeruddin wanted to have the donkey back with him. He wanted to

 stop the auction. 

That's why he shouted the price of 2000 rs for the donkey. No one dared to

 go beyond that price. Finally Naseeruddin had bought the donkey. 

Naseeruddin sold the donkey for 200 rs and again bought the same

 donkey for 2000 rs !!!! 

What made Bhishma to lay down on bed of arrows ?

  Bhishma was ichcha marani meaning he  can opt to die on the day he  wish.

Likewise when Mahabharata war was happening , Bhishma discarded his all weapons after Shikhandi stood infront of him to fight.

That time , Arjuna had shot many arrows on his back . As he was an ichcha marani , Bhishma didn't die instantly .

Bhishma was waiting for uttarayana to come for his death . As he was bleeding , he just laid down on his back with pierced arrows on the ground .

Those arrows themselves acted like the bed for him . Laying down on the bed of arrows , Bhishma was waiting for his death time to come.

Bhishma was in lots of pain . That time Shri  Krishna came to meet him . That time Bhishma asked for the reason for his agony with Shri Krishna .

That time Shri Krishna said that in his previous birth , Bhishma was a king .  When he was returning from hunting along with his soldiers , he spotted a snake on his path.

Bhishma waited for some time but the snake didn't move . Bhishma ordered his soldiers to pick up the snake and throw it to nearby bush .

But that bush was full of thorns . Snake which was thrown was alive and it met its death by all bleeding over its body as it had fallen on thorns.

As the punishment of his bad work in his previous birth , Bhishma had to suffer the same situation in the present birth. As the result he was laying down on bed of arrows all bleeding .

Every union territory is administered by President acting through an administrator appointed by him. 

It is up to the President to specify the designation of an administrator. 

It could either be Lieutenant Governor or Administrator.

Lt. Governor is a constitutional post but may not necessarily be a bureaucrat.

Whereas administrator has to be the part of bureaucracy. 

At present,

What was the wish of donkey ?

There were two donkeys in the village .

One was serving a washer man. Another was a donkey living in street.

First donkey though it was well fed, it was not happy.

One fine morning, it met the second donkey in the street. 

Both of them started sharing their feelings with each other.

Second donkey was happy with its life. 

Living under no one's control, it was leading the life as it wants. 

But the life of first donkey is full of difficulties. 

Whatever and how much its owner is feeding it, it has to eat that.

Whatever its owner is tying on its back, that much it has to carry. 

Sometimes it has fallen down , not able to bear the load on its back

. 

But it's owner mercilessly beated the donkey black and blue.

First donkey literally cried when saying this to second donkey.

Second donkey really felt bad for first donkey. 

Second donkey said, 

Why don't you come with me ? We will live a happy life

 together. 

First donkey said, 

I am tolerating all these with a hope. 

My owner has a daughter who is little naughty and prankster.

 

When ever he catches her doing pranks, every time he says, "

  I will get  you married to a donkey !!!! 

When he says this, he always points at me !!! 

I hope that day will soon come and I will be the son in law of

 my owner  !!! 

Then I can lead a luxurious life. 

Saying this, it started to dream about its future life. 

Slow and steady always wins the race

 Yesterday was the 2nd ODI between India and Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka batted first. The way opening batsmen were playing, I thought Sri Lanka is going to score beyond 300 runs. 

But as soon as the opening partnership was broken, Sri Lanka started collapsing and were able to score just 215 runs.

India started to chase. But lost first 4 wickets without anyone giving strong enough base. 

Then joined Hardik and Rahul.

Both of them slowly and steadily build the partnership which confirmed the win of India.

Both of them concentrated more on scoring singles than hitting shots as the target is low. 

Thus by winning this game, India has also won the 3 match series by 2 - 0.  Still one match is there to play. 

How to prepare watery chutney

 Required ingredients

Fried gram ( hurigadale ) - - 1 cup

Fresh coconut -- 1/2 cup

Ginger -- 1/2 inch

Green chillies -- 3

Tamarind --- marble size

Salt to taste

Method 

Add all the above ingredients to a mixer jar and grind without water .

Now add little water and a bunch of coriander leaves and grind coercely .

Add enough water to get the watery chutney.

Tempering 

To a pan , add 1 spoon oil , 1 spoon mustard seeds , 1/2 spoon urad daal , hing , bay leaves and broken byadagi dry chilly and cook it .

Add to chutney.

Now watery chutney is ready to serve.

Smashing Virat Kohli

 Yesterday was the first one day International cricket match between India and Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka was bowling and India batted first.

India has taken a  good advantage of batting first and scored 373 runs in 50 overs !!!

I am used to watch the T20 matches. Nowadays I feel bored to watch a 50 over match from the beginning.

I started to watch from the 42 over. 

That time Virat Kohli was batting and had scored 92.

Hardik Pandya was out. 

Virat Kohli reached his 100 by smashing boundaries and sixes. 

His hundred came just in 80 balls. 

He was out after scoring 113 runs.

After a long time, smashing Virat Kohli is seen. 

Chasing 373 runs is not an easy task.

Before the start of the innings, Sri Lankan batsmen were getting prepared to lose the game .

I don't think  Sri Lanka with their 10 wickets also, would be able to surpass the total of India. 

I thought its better to go to bed. 

Best episode of the, Kapil Sharma Show

Yesterday's episode of the Kapil Sharma Show dated 8. 1. 2023 is the best episode ever I have watched.

Kapil Sharma has invited 3 motivational speakers to his show. 

One of them is Gaur Gopal Das.

I have watched his videos on YouTube.

He is very humble and down to earth human being. 

He is an electrical engineer. 

He talks about anything in the funny way such that it touches the heart. 

This episode has been added to my favourites list and I will watch them when I am disturbed or feeling low. 

He is one of the best motivational speakers. 

Sensational Surya is back !!!

 Yesterday was Saturday.  But it had become Surya day  !!!

Yesterday was the series decider T20 match between India and Sri Lanka.

India batted first but lost opening batsman Ishan Kishen very early. 

That time TV camera showed Sri Lankan coach. He was very happy by the early dismissal of Indian opener. 

But he was not aware what is going to happen next !!!

Shubhman Gill was joined by Tripathi. 

Tripathi scored good shots, even Gill. 

After Tripathi, came our hero Surya to bat  !!!

Yesterday I realised why he is called 360 degree batsman.

He played sixer shots in the way no one had imagined !!!

The sixer shots played by him made me to laugh loudly !!!

Surya smashed 112 runs just in 51 balls.

He had hit 7 boundaries and 9 sixers  !!!

The above data is enough to describe the battling beauty of Surya.

He was unbeaten at the  end of innings. 

India scored 228 runs in 20 overs. 

I was confident that India is going to win the game as well as series which is the first series of this year 2023. 

Arshdeep, villain of the match

 Yesterday was the T20 match between India and Sri Lanka.

In 3 match series, India had won the first match and yesterday's second match was won by Sri Lanka.

I started to watch the match from the beginning. 

In second over, fast bowler Arshdeep came to bowl.

He bowled 3 back to back no balls !!

So Sri Lanka got 3 free hits and they made good use of it. 

Sri Lanka made 49 runs in just 5 overs all thanks to no ball delivery played by arshdeep. 

That's not all  !!

Worst is yet to come.

18th over was given to Arshdeep to bowl. 

People must learn from their earlier mistakes. 

But Arshdeep proved himself to be not one of them !!

Again he bowled a no ball.

No ball in death overs always proves costly. 

Same thing happened. 

Sri Lanka easily crossed 200 mark. 

This is our bowling. 

In batting, except Surya no one batted well. 

Till Surya was playing, there was a hope of winning the match. 

As soon as Surya got out after his half  century, India collapsed and lost the game. 

Llike winning team gets man of the match award, losing India gets villain of the match award. 

Award goes to Arshdeep !!! 

With whom is he playing ?

 I asked this question to Anirudh.

Question is like this. 

In a room, there are 4 boys. 

1st boy is doing drawing. 

2nd boy is playing chess. 

3rd boy is in the kitchen cooking. 

What is 4th boy doing????

Listening to the question, Anirudh started giving me the list of 

possible works 4th boy would be doing. 

But I said wrong answer to every reply he was giving. 

Getting frustrated, his face was turning red. I thought it is the time 

to tell the correct answer. 

I said 2nd boy is playing chess. Its a normal chessboard game. 

The game requires 2 players to play. One is the 2nd boy and the 

other one is the 4th boy  !!! 

How others take advantage of us.....

 There was a jungle fowl in the jungle. One day it decided to visit its friends 

in the nighbouring forest.

It locked its house and went. It had a great time with its friends. Now it is the 

time to return to its own forest.

But a shocker was waiting for jungle fowl. When it reached its home, it was

 already occupied by a rabbit.

Jungle fowl tried to convince the rabbit that the house belongs to him and

 the rabbit has illegally occupied it.

. 

But rabbit was not ready to listen. Rabbit refused to vacate the house. Both

 of them  started quarrelling. 

Finally both of them agreed to ask for the opinion of other animal. Likewise

 they .went on searching. 

. At last, they found a cat lying down on the road for sunshine. It had closed

 its eyes and seemed like it is meditating. 

Jungle fowl and rabbit both of them discussed with each other and decided

 to take the help of the cat. 

Cunning cat though it had closed its eyes, was watching what is happening

 around. It was aware that jungle fowl and rabbit had come to ask its

 opinion. 

It acted like a knowledgeable animal and asked them to share their problem

 with it. 

Both of them started to tell. That time cat acted like they are not audible to it

 and asked  both of them to come near its ears. 

Both of them went near separate ears so that cat can listen to their problem

 very well. 

Cat was waiting till  both of them to come near and killed both of them at

 once and had a good lunch that afternoon. 

Kapil Sharma show funny incident

 This year I am starting by funny incident of Kapil Sharma Show

 dated 25th December 2022.

On that day , actor Vicky Koushal had come as the guest. 

Vicky Koushal and actress Katrina Kaif are married to each other.

 For his film promotion, Vicky had come to the show. 

On asking about his marriage experience, Vicky said this funny

 incident. 

After Vicky - Katrina marriage, all of the people gathered were

 playing a cricket match along with bride and groom. 

Bride Katrina was batting and groom Vicky was fielding. 

Katrina had hit the ball but the ball was caught by the fielder Vicky  !!! 

It was a OUT  !!! 

All were celebrating the dismissal of Katrina.. 

Even her husband Vicky  !!! 

Katrina was standing there looking at the people celebrating. 

Vicky said, 

That was the last time I celebrated when playing cricket. 

After that, I dared not to take the catch even though ball is in my hands  !!! 

Finally everyone has come to know who is the boss in the house  !!!
